I'd like one that doesn't leak if it isn't upright in a cup holder! Also, one with a spout I can drink from so I don't have to unscrew and remove the lid. Please tell me which water bottles have been your 'best buy ever'?! Thank you!

My fave. I have the black leopard one.

That's the one I have too.

Thank you all so much. I hadn't realised there was such a vast range! I've actually ordered 2, one to leave at work and one for home, and I'm excited to receive them tomorrow!

Another vote for SHO, bought 2 for school for DD last year and they're still as good as new, keeps her water cold all day and never leak when they end up in the bottom of her bag

Amba1998 · 09/06/2025 20:10

Ion8

DoItLikeAWoman · 09/06/2025 20:09

Smash

LegalAlienated · 09/06/2025 20:07

I just use a Camelbak one. They also sell replacement caps so you don’t have to chuck the whole bottle if the cap gets uncleanable.

Massivescreen · 09/06/2025 20:04

Also recommend Sho.
got so many different bottles in this house but that is the best I’ve found thus far.

MoominUnderWater · 09/06/2025 20:03

Owala for sure, I drink loads more since I got one. Worth every penny.

SweepTheHalls · 09/06/2025 19:57

Owala is brilliant! And they come in beautiful colours.

usernumber284 · 09/06/2025 19:50

Wow... just got in from work and this will keep me busy this evening! Thank you all! will report back and tell you which one I buy!

Love my Owala!

Amazon Owala

Another vote for Yeti here!

Takeoutyourcow · 09/06/2025 17:12

Yeti with a chug cap. It will keep your drink hot or cold for hours, never leaks and is indestructible. Mine and the children’s are eight years old now and still going strong.

PrincessHoneysuckle · 09/06/2025 17:09

Bottle bottle.

Got mine from Amazon

TigerRag · 09/06/2025 16:52

I got a cheap one from Tesco. Has a straw / spout and doesn't leak

LogicalBlodge · 09/06/2025 16:51

I got a Sho one with a spout. Went for 900ml so is massive.

Expensive but zero regrets.

Dearg · 09/06/2025 16:46

I have a Chillys with the Sport Cap lid. I hand wash it for preference.

Tarkan · 09/06/2025 16:42

I have this Stanley one and I love it. Like PP I scoffed at the obsession and I couldn’t have one of the massive ones but this is a perfect size for me. I prefer the top handle to the side ones as well if I’m carrying it to Pilates or wherever.

This pic is it right now, I’m out the house and I just chucked it in a bag with a notebook and some shopping and not a drop leaked on my walk here. I have cheaper ones but I wouldn’t trust them in a bag with a notebook like I would this one.

Ion8 are good bottles - leak proof, push button opening, lots of different sizes and colours. You can usually buy them in TK Maxx/Home sense.

I agree with this and they can go in the dishwasher too. Always a winner!

TheatreTraveller · 09/06/2025 16:31

Klean Kanteens. So many different kinds. We all have them for everyday use and have also gave lots of them as gifts.

IhadaStripeyDeckchair · 09/06/2025 16:31

SHO are excellent - a variety of water bottles, and mugs in different colours & patterns.
They also sell the lids separately for when your kids loose them.

WasherWoman25 · 09/06/2025 16:30

ChickenSlims · 09/06/2025 16:09

Ninja thirsti - although it doesn't have a spout, just a small twist off cap. Keeps drinks cold for decades and is completely leak proof, and happily goes through the dishwasher

Another vote for these, but do have a screw cap.
