What advice would you give to your mum just before she gave birth to you?

Remember this feeling. I'm your baby, not a threat. You'll do a very good job if you keep your temper in check. We can do this. He only becomes my favourite because you engineer it that way. You don't have to be maternal, just stay on my side.

Reduce your salt intake. Deal with your own family trauma so you don’t repeat the cycle on us. Remember it’s completely normal for teenagers to act like twats. Don’t take what they say personally. Telling your teenage daughters how little you weighed after giving birth isn’t helpful.
Don’t listen to the dr, speak your mother tongue. We’ll learn how to speak English when we start school.
