Out of order! Judgemental he may like the film or have many other reasons for watching the film.

Annascaul · 03/06/2025 16:32

Usual half term antics.

Nobody has a clue what you’re on about, to be quite specific.

Exactly what I just said , what’s so hard to follow 😂
Now I’m leaving this thread , too many annoying people such as yourself on it
The jump on the wagon kind !

Well if you don’t know what you’re talking about then you probably should be quiet also !

Like people coming on putting up posts when they haven’t a clue what any of it is about ! 🙄

No chance of you ever being quiet I suppose? 😂

Are you an actual child? Because you sound like one (and I haven't even followed what 'side' you're on, so it's nothing to do with disagreeing with you).

I’m not getting into this tennis text thing now , you’re one of these awful men that I hate soooo much 😂 having to prove his point ..
Stop being dopey , obviously I think men should be able to go about their business & do things on their own !

I'm not a man but you're just proving the point now

Go back to your cleaning, at least that’s achieving something useful (and less tedious for the rest of us)

Well he could be! and you wouldn't know!!!! (though obviously, it's extremely unlikely unless you've spotted him digging up the patio recently)

I'm pretty confident he's not. I'll take that risk though as he's already seemed a nice bloke.

My ex? I wouldn't put it past him.

Not quite my point.

I think this thread could have gone either way. I don't think you're being a man hater. Some posters have obviously not been on threads that I've been on where I've been slated for saying not all men are potential murderers.

I once got told that my DH could possibly be a murderer I just didn't know.

Edited

Thanks for your concern 🖕😂

If he’s middle aged then he was a kid when the first movie came out and it light just be nostalgia. He isn’t doing anything wrong. Jesus. Cannot believe you’ve started a thread about this.

Sorry, thread derail but your calculation is a bit off! I am not yet middle aged (I don’t think anyway; I’m under 40 so getting there but still…) and I was 15 and too old for the first one when it came out.

You finished your cleaning the kitchen quick, did a lone man next door spot you, or a lone bin man empty your bins? that why your back on MN man hating again 😂

PS would you let a lone fireman or medic rescue your children or would they have to be accompanied by a female chaperone? 🤔

Because you openly admit you wouldn't be as cautious if he wasn't alone

Which means you think men shouldn't be out alone. Doing normal things.

Which is pretty anti-man

The original Lilo And Stitch was my son’s favourite movie when he was small. He went to see the new one when it came out to see how it measured up and what they’d changed.

He’s a grown man who just remembered something fondly so went to see the new version. I think it’s pretty unpleasant to judge anyone for that.

He has that Odeon subscription where he can see endless movies for £18 a month, so he’s at the cinema by himself frequently.

As a shameless nostalgic this really made me smile.

I had to watch the original L&S movie far too many times to feel anything other than contemptuous hatred towards it, even now. But I hope that your son enjoyed it and wasn't judged to within an inch of his life for being there.

Why do people like you leap up as soon as the credits begin to roll and ruin the final scene for everyone else? Just sit fucking still.

Minecraft Movie was a prime example. Put up with shitbags ruining the film and then their parents leap up and sprint out and completely miss the final scene at the end of the credits.

Idiots the lot of them. Now to know that they are sitting there judging other filmgoers, nasty.

I hate that too. Even if there is no final scene at the end (and how do you know for sure?), there is usually a poignant piece of music that, imho, is just as important a part of the film as all the other parts.

Don't people just want to sit and properly take in the film that they've just spent two hours watching, just for two or three minutes? It's meant to be a pleasurable experience; not a boring chore that you quit the instant it's done.

DoctorRoseReturns · 03/06/2025 14:31

And, again, Disney films are Family films. They are done with the intent of being interesting for both adults and children

They are not "kids films"

DoctorRoseReturns · 03/06/2025 14:27

Missj25 · 03/06/2025 13:19

No , you’re wrong PP , I don’t hate men ..
That’s besides the point anyway ..
Why is everyone getting so up in arms about other people’s views ? ?
So what if I’d be more mindful of my children at the cinema , cause there’s an adult man sitting on his own behind me watching a kids movie ..
Sure what am I doing only being aware …

Because you openly admit you wouldn't be as cautious if he wasn't alone

I do have kids, but I'm not scared of the boogie man stalking them in the middle of a Lilo and Stitch movie, what next a grown man in a Sponge Bob movie, hell call the cops 😱😂

@dailymail Can you please report grown men are going to the cinema on their own!!!!!! 😂

Well everyone is just giving out to me now 🙈 so I’m just going to go clean the kitchen 😂
If there was an emoji of girl covering her ears & sticking out her tongue at the same time , that’s the one I’d be sending you PP 😁
Bye now & Enjoy your day … 🙂
