hiw they always get sick when the kids are sick and need caring for but when you come down with it they don’t help

Men (and when I say men, I mean, my boyfriend 🤣) always being late, making me late for events as he’s so slow getting ready and has no sense of urgency, but then when I’m chivvying him along and getting flustered, frustrated etc that we’re late, he turns it on me and I’M the one nagging and causing a problem.

I'm heartily sick of men in the workplace being promoted to roles that are over and above their level of competence and expertise because they're likeable and have the gift of the gab, then being completely reliant on their female colleagues to problem-solve, make decisions and manage difficult conversations.

Thinking that you remotely give one single fuck about them. Trust me, random man, I am not interested in engaging with you in any way shape or form.

I'm actually jealous of their self esteem at times (obviously not all).

The way they fail to see women as people but see us for our utility. If you don't serve a purpose for them then you don't exist.

For them narcissism is the norm rather than the exception.

There are many many men who think that way sadly. Maybe not in your circle, but they do exist and spread their poison through religion and/or online. This is a real problem and absolute poison for our society. I mean, wtf, Trump himself ranted over the weekend about 'trophy wives' - what is a 'trophy wife'? That whole notion says a lot about how the man sees us and he is the POTUS. In our faces every single fucking day.

They insist they're better leaders, and yet so many can't manage their share of a household / parenting.

They insist it's Not All Men and yet if a woman is harassed / attacked by a man it's her fault for not taking adequate precautions.

Too many of them view women as gold diggers, yet they'll happily settle down with a woman and share finances, reducing their financial load but won't contribute 50% of household labour.

If they invite a woman on a date and they pay for the date, they then expect her to put out for them sexually and if she refuses they'll call her a whore. Sir, it was you who treated her like a prostitute!

The hypocrisy is strong. They can't see it. The older I get, the more I must conclude, a great many of them are just dumb.

I've never once heard a man describe women as 'their property' and neither have friends.

We're not talking about restricting their bodily autonomy, are we? We don't talk about them being our 'property' like the Tates of this world, are we? We can bitch and say we just want to live our lives as adult human beings with full agency and autonomy without having to look after dead weights or lose out in our careers to morons who know how to play the old boys club.

The way simple demands for equality are interpreted as us oppressing them.

I work on a till & if I had £1 for every time I offer a bloke a carrier bag & he quips “ I brought one with me love”,indicating his wife/partner, I would be extremely rich! And they always say it as if it’s original & as if they’re hilariously funny. Twats!
