The way simple demands for equality are interpreted as us oppressing them.
The whole 'men have lost their way, poor them' because we don't pander to them in the same way any more - and now it's supposed to mean rolling back 60+ years.
Manosphere losers are not men. They're scared little boys who don't understand the meaning of strength (moral and mental).

Scared little boys that choose to ignore all the good stuff they are being taught and follow an unhinged human trafficker pimp and criminal and the mentally challenged hate he preaches

Ifpicklesweretickles · 28/05/2025 11:30

The ugliest vilest old little creeps having the confidence to approach women and think they'd be in with a chance.

ghostyslovesheets · 28/05/2025 11:29

The privilege

the sense of entitlement

the violence

99victoria · 28/05/2025 11:24

Yeh, the sex thing
Sometimes I feel a bit sorry for them - it must be pretty awful to be so totally controlled by such a small part of your body.
Think about every film/tv programme you've ever seen that involves some kind of deception. They always send a beautiful sexy woman to distract the man and it ALWAYS works. Without fail 😂

Someone should start a similar thread about black people, or gays, or the Irish, or whatever.

All those have men in them.

The way they* walk into a room expecting me to instantly stop doing whatever I’m doing to pay attention to their communication. The huffy sigh when I don’t. Or the huffy sigh when they realise I have my headphones on. The grump when I glare.

  • DH

Mine does this.

He starts talking at me without actually looking to see what I’m doing and gets annoyed when I don’t hear him or have him repeat himself because I didn’t hear him over the dishwasher, the dryer, the kids making noise, and me cooking, yet if I talk to him I have to be looking at him otherwise he can’t hear me.

If I’m sitting down for a meal, he has to immediately tell me something that I have zero interest in and he knows I don’t. I have told him so. I do not care what stupid tripe has left Trump’s lips. I know it’s stupid, hence I don’t listen to him or get riled up by what he says. I don’t care about football, cricket, or hockey. I’d happily not hear about any of them ever again. I do not get the same level of polite attention I give when I speak about my interests even when it takes a minute. I barely get questions while I ask questions about his.

Gettingbysomehow · 28/05/2025 11:10

There isn't enough room on this thread for me to start. The only man I'm happy with is my DS because I brought him up properly and he is not a selfish idiot.

A lot of men think they are entitled to be angry...they may shout, rage, lash out and tear people down because they feel like it.
They are rarely held truly accountable for their behaviour.

My husband was like that except he didn't turn it on me or accuse of nagging but he just didn't see it as being a problem. I hate being late, its rude and disrespectful and it'd mean I was in bad humour before we even got to whatever we were attending while it didnt bother him. He'd never ever be late for his hobby which ironically is entirely time sensitive (motorsport). I decided a few years ago when we were going to a first communion that I was not going to be late, nor was I going to 'nag', encourage him to hurry, make sure everything he needed was sorted the night before etc, I got up in time, got ready and asked if he was ready because it was time to leave, we'd a two hour drive ahead so needed to go, he wasn't even out of bed so I just said 'see you later' and left. I went to the communion and anyone who asked where he was got told the last place I seen him was bed a few hours earlier. There was no argument when I got home because he knew I'd reached the limit of what I'd accept, he's improved considerably since then but I have left him behind twice since, one cinema trip and one dinner.

I love this, I’ve often thought about just leaving him to it and going somewhere by myself, but worried it would just cause even more tension. After hearing that your husband was quite remorseful when you did it, made me think of it in a different light and I bet actually, my boyfriend would also be really humbled and a bit embarrassed if I did that…so maybe I should give it a go next time!

User32459 · 28/05/2025 10:53

They always just want sex all of the time.

KIlliePieMyOhMy · 28/05/2025 10:48

How all men are exactly the same in the world where this thread makes sense.

GroovyChick87 · 28/05/2025 10:46

Ages on the toilet every day, like clockwork. If I need to poo, I do my business, wash my hands and leave the bathroom in under 5 mins. With men it's a special event. All other tasks must be forsaken and may only be resumed after Dave has been to the toilet.

Men (and when I say men, I mean, my boyfriend 🤣) always being late, making me late for events as he’s so slow getting ready and has no sense of urgency, but then when I’m chivvying him along and getting flustered, frustrated etc that we’re late, he turns it on me and I’M the one nagging and causing a problem.

Partnered men exploiting the labour of their SO
Being shit but being rewarded for their half arsed, bare minimum contribution to anything from domestic labour, parenting, their work.

They are vile I hate them.

What, all of them?
Bloody hell that’s a sweeping generalisation.

I was only joking- you seem to have had a sense of humour failure... said to me soooo many times. Including the time when I objected the day after to one of my colleagues who drunk at a function had asked me (infront of more junior male staff) if it was true that my Indian vagina went horizontal rather than vertical. Banter can be used really toxically.

Wtf?!!!!!!!

Terms like intersectionality give me the heebie-jeebies, but I think this may be appropriate in this case. Awful awful awful.

What’s wrong with men brandishing women as ‘gold diggers’, surely this is just the female version of a ‘cocklodger’

cocklodger Isn’t really a known turn in real life tho is it ?

Pretty much everything about them, really. Been single for the last 16 years. I can honestly say that I've not spent a single second of that time wishing I was in another relationship and would never go back to being 'partnered up'!

Aahaha glad to hear I’m not alone! It’s every single time we go out, so fed up of being late…and being accused of the one causing problems 🤣

GingerPussInBoots · 28/05/2025 09:33

I hate the fact I have to run on a treadmill in a gym indoors as if I run outside, there will be men that shout comments like milf etc from cars and van
i mean why on earth do they do that ? They can’t surely think you’ll end up getting with them
they must surely do it to intimidate

also hate the way if I was attacked
there would be questions
why did I have the audacity to be out in the evening alone etc
what was I wearing
did I drink alcohol

none does that to victims that have been robbed or burgled

also some men seem very keen to label some women as gold diggers

yet there’s not really a term to sum up men that exploit women for their youth beauty and fertility and labour

What’s wrong with men brandishing women as ‘gold diggers’, surely this is just the female version of a ‘cocklodger’

0 initiative - if I want housework done on his day off I have to write him a list

Because he works full time he can't possibly shoulder any mental load/read school messages etc. The fact I work full time as well doesn't matter

Constantly on his phone 'looking at reels' so doing sweet FA - bloody phone is going to end up down the toilet eventually

Argh!

Greenartywitch · 28/05/2025 09:40

I am sick of the aggression, sexual and physical violence, constant porn use, lack of respect for women and girls, arrogance and immaturity that so many men display.

It is such as shame that we still live in a world where too many men think women are sub-humans who are put on earth for their sexual needs.

There is a reason why the likes the Tate brothers are so popular. Many men unfortunately agree with their views of women.

''@ItsBouqeeeet
So it's okay to women to have a good bitch but not vice versa...''

Really? you know perfectly well that men are the ones who commit the majority of rapes, sexual assaults and are responsible for most domestic violence instances. We also have a history of centuries of women being controlled by men through the law.

There are specific historical and social issues that are purely to be blamed on men.

But don't let facts get in your way...
