To tell you that today marks 7 months 'til Christmas! 🎄

I've spent the evening on 'christmastok' to feel something 😭

Also around 4 months til autumn starts, and the warm weather bloody goes away

Oh no I agree with the other poster, I can’t stand those few months. Loads of people get excited about “cozy season” and I can’t stand it. Some people really struggle with that time of year and I’m definitely one of them.
I’m definitely at my best at this time of year. Christmas can F off 😄

mine too - I don't even mind January, when its cold and snowy 😌

AIBU to remind you it's only 11 months until next April, when we begin to see the brilliant green of new emerging leaves on the trees...see shorelines and rockpools start to brim with darting new life...the smell of soft heather and marron grass carrying on warm breezes when out on the hills...the thrill of nurturing some new plant in the garden and seeing it shoot up, etc etc. Really adore the spring and summer and wish to soak it in, this countdown to the commercialised dullness of Halloween/Christmas at the start of summer always feels wrong to me!

Totally agree this year has gone too quickly.

I think I need a non school job as this always happens. I feel I waste summer with a painfully long slog of the last term and then it’s August off when everyone is talking about Autumn 🙁

On a serious note, this has prompted me to start thinking about setting some money aside each month to cover December... We don't go crazy, but always host and DS has his birthday 2 weeks before Christmas!

😄😄 People need to know that santa and his elves are working away on the toys 🎅

I always get like this around this time of year - I've started thinking about Christmas prep too, I want a balsam hill tree this year, ive decided
