Just being nosey and quite bored 😅

So..me, mid 40’s, live abroad, sat on balcony drinking a Somersby, Dd, 7 will come up to bed in a minute and we’ll do bedtime story. I’ll probably come back on the balcony when she’s asleep. Dh going out

Anyone else? Vague age, area, plans? Sm shows me everyone is out and my road is very quiet

Early 50’s, snuggled under my duvet watching BGT. Suffering with chemo side effects, so feeling sorry for myself. DP is opening the Turkish delight and making a right mess with all the sugar! 😊

homeismyhaven · 24/05/2025 20:58

42 on sofa under a blanket even though it’s actually quite warm out, scrolling the drama on MN with BGT on in the background that DH and teenage DS are watching and they are moaning at me for being g in my phone. DD having a sleepover in garden room and pleased that I can’t hear them! Standard Saturday night!!

BethDuttonYeHaw · 24/05/2025 20:58

Early 50s currently camping with scouts and watching them wash up and clean up after dinner.

Being bitten by midgies and hoping the rain holds off a bit longer.

Early 40ies. In a caravan park in Dorset as oldest child has a sports training thing for a few days on a beach nearby, so have brought all the kids plus husband for a few days.

Sitting with the youngest, about to read Flat Stanley. Then will go and have a cup of tea before bed.

I love Flat Stanley. None of the kids I work with have ever heard of it

Overtheatlantic · 24/05/2025 20:56

Late 50s, lying in bed, listening to the gentle rain, my snoring cat, and a train in the distance. Started watching Sirens earlier, but I’m not quite convinced by it.

ChittyChittyBoomBoom · 24/05/2025 20:56

Late (😬) 40s currently camping on the east coast ⛺️. Sat outside tent, kids got hot chocolate and snacks, I’m contemplating going for a shower 🤔.

Pascha · 24/05/2025 20:55

Sitting watching a film with dh (dull hence me answering this), teens away camping, cats have abandoned us for Mousing and frog chasing. I have a sore throat.

That's about as much as I can think of.

Late 30's, UK. Sitting with my 4.5yo who refuses to sleep at a decent time. Hopefully he'll be asleep by 9, Then will have dinner and watch a couple of episodes of something before bed.

What’s with 4YO not sleeping? 😅 mine too.

60s, east of England, foster carer to a small one who is snoring away in his bad while I while away the hours until his milk feed runs out then I will swap his milk bag for a new one and head for bed. Debating whether or not I a) need marmalade on toast and b) if I do whether or not it's healthy it's not.

Evaka · 24/05/2025 20:54

Early 40s, watching a new crime drama in bed with DP. Just had lovely dinner of salmon, rice and kimchi. He's making tea and biscuits. It's our last weekend in our beloved rental before moving into flat we've bought. Emotional!

Mid 40s, scrolling with Sirens on the background (Netflix) contemplating life and the fact my husband who has been driving me to the brink of leaving for ages has now said he wants a divorce. Been in bed for 2 days as I put my back out, have a head cold and generally feeling meh, particularly with my husbands timing of divorce request.. Wondering if Perimenopause has been making me feel he is a complete gaslighting, sneaky, lying, weak, cold cowardly twat, or of thats all just on him. Wondering if I will get enough out of the house sale to buy somewhere as I’m now self employed and won’t get a mortgage. And also a little excited to think I won’t go through any of the toxic circles we have over the past 20 years on and off.. Hoping I will find a warm, loving relationship one day but also aware I need to do the work and heal before rushing in…. But after being sexually ignored for so long not sure if I’ll wait 🤪 Sorry for the essay rant!

Late 30s. Currently in a hotel and beginning to wish I'd picked somewhere else! My hotel is right next to a pub and they're doing karaoke. Hopefully it'll quieten down soon

aardonpardonwenttothegarden · 24/05/2025 20:52

Mid 30. 4YO DC refusing to go to sleep as sleep patterns have changed suddenly and only sleeping for 10 hours. DH out meet family and I need to study for my exam next week!

WhereIsMyJumper · 24/05/2025 20:52

40, sat in the car eating a McDonalds after just leaving the cinema on my own. Suffering from heartbreak and feeling lonely

MistressoftheDarkSide · 24/05/2025 20:52

Genes Goddamit. Not jeans I never wear jeans. Damn you Autocorrect.

CoubousAndTourmalet · 24/05/2025 20:51

61, North West England. Just got back from walking puppy, we got completely drenched! Having a mug of Nestle Caro, and then I'll pick up my knitting again for a bit.

Lifealittleboulder · 24/05/2025 20:51

Early (ish!) 40s on an island, just got the kids to bed, although I can hear ds is still awake (preteen)
. we have sausage and chips in the oven. Hubby’s stretched out on the sofa, scrolling after a long day.. sitting with my feet up staring out the picture window across our garden to our front field with calves in, slopes downwards towards a river with loads of mature trees and honeysuckle. It’s so green and lush. It’s drizzly but warm, lots of sea gulls about which is unusual inland, someone must have been ploughing on the next farm.
when teas ready we’ll watch clarksons farm and then go to bed, busy day tomorrow with church and we’ll take the kids somewhere in the afternoon, hopefully it’ll be dry possibly down to a beach, most likely ice Cream will feature!

Scarlettpixie · 24/05/2025 20:50

52 UK Midlands. My son is away in London with his girlfriend so it’s just me and the dog at home and the dog has gone to bed! I am feeling a bit sorry for myself as I have been suffering from heartburn since last night when I has some white wine. Usually I am fine with it and occasionally not.

We went for a walk in the rain about 7.30pm and I am now having a naked noodle pot and a cup of warm water (which helps the indigestion). I am just about to start season 3 of Fear the Walking Dead.

MistressoftheDarkSide · 24/05/2025 20:50

56, widowed 3 years, have just eaten a double decker (2 actually - the small ones). Communing with my cats, one of whom is full of kittens. Having a nice cup of tea, and in between planning my Dad's funeral in my head - he died recently, it's not that I hate him or anything - I'm doom scrolling and planning a future as an activist against AI because I think Sarah Connor is a valid role model, and I may have Luddite jeans.

Chin chin 😘

Uk based, later fifties and early retired. Drove across county to collect something I bought. Had a walk with DH, had a big dinner this evening with family and just watched a very touching film called Still Life on YouTube which I thoroughly recommend.
