To wonder if there's any actual evidence that's trans women are not safe in male loos?

I feel, as a FWR lurker, that I would have seen linked articles to bank up the fact that trans identifying men aren't safe in men's loos, and therefore that's the rational why women should budge up and accept trans identifying men in their spaces.

I'm pretty sure with a quick Google I could fund evident that trans identity men have made women's spaces unsafe (Kate delowski? The one who worked for a charity and made a masturbation video).

So AIBU to wonder what hard evidence there is?

An extremist. Does not speak for all trans people, just as many cultures, identities, constituencies or populations are not all represented by their most rabid fundamentalist members.

So why are the trans community not decrying his actions?

So what about Sarah Jane Baker?

Annoyedone · 26/05/2025 17:04

She was proudly supporting a sign saying death to terfs. So are you saying the police person was not a transactivist but a GC activist? Seems sus to me

Because the people who executed this deception in an attempt to entrap a police officer there for everyone’s safety and protection proudly posted about it.

And the poster upthread went and used this deception as “evidence” of trans threats to women. And yet it was a “false flag” deception entirely devised by gender critical activists who invaded a safe space event for queer and trans people with their hatred.

All this fuss about a tiny minority of people who face much bigger challenges than we do, and resorting to fabricated “evidence” like this just shows how deranged transphobes really are.

Why is a 'false flag'?

Would YOU like us to go and find the videos and the selfies of the male people that you are categorising as a 'tiny, vulnerable minority' then? The actual content self published by the relevant people?

And sorry, did you actually even acknowledge Baker's actions at all?

because he wrote a blog post about it

Well if his aim was to demonstrate that inciting violence against women who say no to men is not only tolerated but actively condoned at these events, I'd say it was mission accomplished, wouldn't you?

How do you know that is not a transactivist? I mean holding a sign up saying women need to be afraid doesn’t seem very GC? What makes you think that is not a transactivist?

Ok this is amazing though ‘it’s actually about the police officer not the GC person who’s posing as a trans rights activist’

Great. I am glad that you do actually understand the relevance of the original post.

That police officers should not be having their photos taken with people with political signs. Especially ones that call for women to be afraid.

Whether it was a transgender activist or not, the point of not taking photos with signs calling for women to be afraid is rather valid.

I am glad that you understood the point now though.

And I am also glad that you understand that regardless of who is telling women that they should be afraid in this manner, which is an act of intimidation and threat, it is never appropriate. But I did notice that you have failed to acknowledge what Baker was doing this very weekend? Was that an oversight on your part?

Or did I miss you stating that Baker should not be threatening and intimidating female people? In which case, I am sorry. I will go back and check. (no, I checked, there was no acknowledgement of what Baker did, just a further attempt to distract with an irrelevant point).

"No it’s the second link, which the poster referred to quite specifically and which you all seem intent on ignoring"

So, you didn't intend to shame women with this post then?

Good to know that wasn't your intention, but it can certainly be interpreted as an intention to accuse women of 'ignoring' a point that you felt was relevant.

It's a very valid point.

Say it is a gender critical feminist (LOL of course it bloody isn't) pretending to be a trans activist threatening women.

Why is a member of the police (whose salaries are paid from, among others, gender critical feminists' taxes) endorsing this message?

Aren't they supposed to be catching violent thugs and putting them in jail, rather than buddying up to them?

Can you tell me if you believe that Sarah Jane Baker's threats of violence to specific women who have stood up for women's single sex spaces is acceptable or not?

Because you appear to be ignoring that entirely.

Helleofabore · 26/05/2025 16:50

And I agree with others, how did the person be judged as being 'transphobic'? By which criteria? Or was it hangry's personal criteria for judging transphobia?

Helleofabore · 26/05/2025 16:48

The point of the second link was actually about the police officer who willingly had his photo taken with someone carrying that sign.

It is actually not relevant who the person holding the sign is. It is the action of the police officer.

But the person who tried to distract from the original point being Baker directly threatening wome, did in fact ignore the original point. To go for a gotcha that was irrelevant to the topic of the post.

Are these all infiltrators too?

https://terfisaslur.com/

Well, this is an excellent point.

But I was offering to collate the many many videos and selfies of male people with transgender identities that are taken in female single sex spaces that in and of themselves, without even needing words, are public acts of intimidation towards female people. That many of them also contain threats is just par for the course.

There is a reason that female people don't want any male people above about 8-10 years old in their single sex spaces.

Horseebooks · 26/05/2025 16:46

Helleofabore · 26/05/2025 16:39

Did you actually read the post that was linked to the sign that you are now referring to?

Can you explain what the relevance of your post in relation to the original post being referred to, ie. my post? Would you like to explain what anyone is ignoring and would you like to comment on Sarah Baker's threats?

Would you also like us to provide many more photographed and video'd acts of threats and intimidation made by male people with transgender identities (you know the 'tiny, vulnerable group'?

We can even specifically tailor them to be only made towards female people if you like? It will take less than five minutes to accumulate a lot of them. Published by the very people, specifically male people, demanding access to female single sex spaces based on their philosophical belief. Just let us know and I know I am happy to oblige.

Just in case you failed to understand the original point being made and how irrelevant who the person was that was holding the sign compared to the police officer who allowed themselves to have a photo taken with a sign that called for women to be afraid? I mean... I can explain the relevance in more depth if you wish. Just ask.

Respectfully, having engaged with you before, I do not need you to explain anything to me, though I appreciate the offer

Quite right, there is no “right” way to be a man or woman. So trans and nonbinary identities are absolutely legitimate, given that there isn’t a “right” way, and should not be discriminated against.

So if there is no “right” way to be a man or woman why do you think that a man dressing like a woman becomes a woman, rather than that man just being a non-conforming man?

Surely if you agree that there is no right way to be a man or woman then you must accept that you can’t identify into either of those categories because there is no way to adequately do it “right”. You just are, you are male or female, man or woman. You might be a woman who wears joggers and hoodies and gets an undercut, you might be a man who’s fabulous at eyeliner and walking in heels, you might be a woman who sometimes likes a rockabilly petticoats look and other days feels more like a greaser in a leather jacket and drainpipe jeans, but however you do it you remain what you are and always have been.

Helleofabore · 26/05/2025 16:43

lifeturnsonadime · 26/05/2025 16:19

Oh so a trans woman murderer on licence telling women to be afraid and you reap what you sow, for daring to want to protect women's single sex spaces is considered fine by the trans community then?

I have no idea whether the person in the second link is an infiltrator or not because I don't know who it is.

But I do know that Sarah Jane Baker is a violent man who is publicly inciting violence against women for wanting single sex spaces.

Which 'you all' seem intent on ignoring.
