I’d be worried about that channel of water so nearby!

MoominMai · 24/05/2025 14:13

A bit too trippy for me.

RedRosesAndGypsophelia · 24/05/2025 14:07

It looks like it could have been a lovely house before the current owner 'decorated' it to their (lack of) taste.

Fangisnotacoward · 24/05/2025 13:37

It's a bit too colourful for my taste, but I love the fact someone has a house this bold, bright and beautiful.

Makes such a refreshing change from the sparse griege houses everyone seems to have.

clarepetal · 24/05/2025 13:06

I love it too

Puzzledandpissedoff · 24/05/2025 12:37

Each to their own, but it would send me straight out for a skip and all the magnolia paint I could get

FWIW I actually quite like colour, but used in a controlled way as a feature rather than plastered all over everything

MarxistMags · 24/05/2025 12:24

I've got a sore head just looking at it !

Snickersnack1 · 24/05/2025 10:53

I’d like it as an AirBnB where all the colour and pattern was novelty factor, but I wouldn’t want to live there all the time. It’s not my natural taste and doesn’t feel like home to me, so it would irritate me after a while.

Itiswhysofew · 24/05/2025 10:45

I can see why you like it. It'd be lovely to visit it, as there's so much to look at.

There's a shop in town that I could quite happily live in, which has a similar vibe to this house.

KnittyNell · 24/05/2025 10:40

StartEngineStop · 24/05/2025 03:03

Huh?

Yes what is she on about? 🤨

LoveWine123 · 24/05/2025 09:17

It has a lot of character for sure and it’s interesting and imaginative. But it looks like somewhere you visit for a bit (to have afternoon tea for example) and then go home to your own homely and uncluttered space. It’s too busy and has too much stuff everywhere you look. It would drive me crazy to be there all the time.

DilemmaDelilah · 24/05/2025 09:10

I love colour but this is so 'busy' that I actually couldn't finish looking at all the photos. It's mostly that there is so much STUFF I think rather than the decor, the two together is too much for my autistic mind to cope with.

You definitely couldn't buy anything like that for £180k where I live though!

Grapewrath · 24/05/2025 08:21

It’s lovely- I hate greige, boring or old fashioned homes

Clawdy · 24/05/2025 08:19

Liked it, so different. That price is unbelievable! So cheap.

HoskinsChoice · 24/05/2025 08:16

It's fucking horrible - so tacky! But each to their own, some people clearly love it and the garden is fab.

Good luck selling it OP, great marketing on here for you, I'm surprised it's allowed.

2Magpies24 · 24/05/2025 08:12

Omg the price! Currently looking for something that size in Brighton and Hove and that house would be around the £1million mark.

ThatNaiceMember · 24/05/2025 08:03

I really dislike it, the decor and the layout and the open plan downstairs with all that "decor". It's the stuff of my nightmares... But I do like the outside so there's that 🤣

KimberleyClark · 24/05/2025 07:51

Way too busy and cluttered, and was it a shop/commercial premises at some point?

Flamingoknees · 24/05/2025 07:49

There's lots of fab things in it, but I don't like clutter. When they move out, the fab things will go with them, and you'll be left with the crap ceiling etc to sort.

Colts627 · 24/05/2025 07:47

The decor is atrocious however when it is as unique as that you know that the owner absolutely loves it and that’s all that really matters.

Sofiewoo · 24/05/2025 07:44

I hate it so much. I like bold design choices but this is just naff and cheap looking.
The painted ceiling is grim.

CharlotteLightandDark · 24/05/2025 07:42

Like the colours and decor but not layout, too open plan for me. Cheap as chips though!

sparrowflewdown · 24/05/2025 07:42

Not keen at all. The garden is awful the waterway just makes me think of rats, rats, rats!

Igmum · 24/05/2025 07:38

It’s lovely

McCartneyOnTheHeath · 24/05/2025 07:37

I like the pink doors at the bottom of the stairs. The rest of it, nope.
