This website is called Mumsnet and you can tell by the name there's mums. So what are kids up to

you first @BeLoudRubyPanda .

And why the bizarre clarification about Mumsnet? We know.

SockQueen · 18/05/2025 20:30

One is having a poo. Blush

The other is doing something on the computer with DH before coming up to get ready for bed once the bathroom is vacated.

FreshAirForwards · 18/05/2025 20:30

Sorting all of her darks for the wash; pockets emptied, socks unballed. She’s doing a grand job.

threelittlescones · 18/05/2025 20:30

I have 2 sleeping, one wailing in their room while my partner tries to deal with the tantrum and another lying beside me on our bed while we wait for the wailing one to be quiet so they can return to their own bed. I haven't had dinner and it's been a loooooong weekend.

MereNoelle · 18/05/2025 20:29

Youngest is asleep, eldest is reading in her room and I think the middle one is painting her nails, knowing full well that she’ll have to take it off in the morning as she’s not allowed nail polish at school.

TeenLifeMum · 18/05/2025 20:28

Watching Last of Us with dh and I. All 5 of us together which is becoming increasingly rare.

FlossyFooFoo44 · 18/05/2025 20:27

Youngest two are in the hot tub, second eldest is finishing his Eagle Scout project and the eldest has gone to the shop with DH while I finish making a trifle (Brits now living in U.S.)

RampantIvy · 18/05/2025 20:26

Wednesdaysotherchild · 18/05/2025 20:22

Fallen asleep in my arms after a 27min sleepy breastfeed.

Cyclingforcake · 18/05/2025 20:18

One is reading. One is meant to be asleep but I can hear her pottering around her room.

PeloMom · 18/05/2025 20:18

Eating lunch (it’s around noon here)

wizzbitt · 18/05/2025 20:18

7 year old is delaying bedtime as much as possible. Doesn’t help that I’m on mumsnet instead of settling her 🤣
10year old is watching a bit of last minute tv.

UpUpUpU · 18/05/2025 20:17

Sleeping I hope!

Summatoruvva · 18/05/2025 20:17

DD10 is rushing a bath after getting all sweaty playing football on the street. DD12 is binge watching School Spirit with a chocolate mousse.

WorkCleanRepeat · 18/05/2025 20:16

They are both in their rooms supposed to be going to sleep.

One is loudly complaining that her room is too light to sleep.

UrbanMonstrosity · 18/05/2025 20:16

Anyone any ideas how to get past F? 🫠

loobyloo1979 · 18/05/2025 20:12

One is at uni, hopefully studying for exams, and the other is gaming, recovering from a 4am home time (he's 25)

YearlySubscriptionRenewal · 18/05/2025 20:12

tidying up the kits after a day at cricket so we can finally take them all home, shower and send them to bed! Even the coaches have had enough by this time 😂

Muchtoomuchtodo · 18/05/2025 20:12

One’s at the gym and the other is seeing a friend who’s a girl and he’s seeing a lot of but isn’t his girlfriend!

Wishboneswishes · 18/05/2025 20:10
