It is the latest of a series of demonstrations of Trump's disrespect for Catholics.

His balcony statement on the Pope's death alongside a person in a bunny suit.
His attire at the Pope's funeral.
This picture.

Trump’s a troll in every sense of the word.

Do you think he’d dare dress up as a rabbi?

I’d like to see Netanyahu's reaction.

He'd just praise him for it. N isn't the power player in that relationship.

I was brought up a strict catholic. Renounced it aged 14. Can’t stand the religion but have respect for believers. This comes across as SO disrespectful.

Well astoundingly the rules are that you don’t actually have to be a cardinal or a catholic to become Pope so whilst it’s tasteless, Im not so sure it’s really disrespectful 🤔

😆

I mean, I fucking hate him. But I also hate how much he makes me laugh.

This is me, too.
He's so punk it's crazy.

Really? I have very little time for the catholic church but that is beyond disrespectful

I’m a catholic and I laughed!

He's just looking for justification to wear a hat indoors.

🤣 he actually looks much better in a hat!

Tbrh · 04/05/2025 01:52

Well who would think he'd be President of USA - twice! Never say never

OonaStubbs · 04/05/2025 01:48

He would be nowhere close to being the worst pope, if he was indeed ordained as the new pontiff which IMO is quite unlikely.

ScottBakula · 04/05/2025 01:45

If he could prove that he believed in lives by even 30% of the Catholic religious doctoring I would be very very surprised.
I guess he strongly believes in "there is no such thing as bad publicity "
I beg to differ !

Trump's mental deterioration is accelerating. I feel very sorry for Americans.😟

I don't think he's showing much mental deterioration.

Granted, he's not starting from a high watermark.

Disgusting man. To make such an image of himself just shows the world what a deranged, sick lunatic he is.

Monty27 · 04/05/2025 01:15

It's an ecumenical matter 😉

crumblingschools · 04/05/2025 01:14

Should someone who has the mindset to do that be President?

I find his arrogance funny.
