So there was a post on SM about a woman and her DH loving sports and all tongue in cheek. She said her husband wants to watch every screen in the house, is it normal?! Tongue in cheek really but her DH found it funny as did a few others. All comments were made by women having a giggle etc.. aside from her BIL and DB who commented.

Then another male who she hardly knows posts a jokey comment with Xxx at the end.

What would people think of that with the 3 x’s? Imo it’s not normal to put that many ‘X’s as a male acquaintance at best

Some people put loads of kisses after messages and some don’t. It means nothing. Grow up.

but based on what you’ve written, no I don’t think it’s particularly inappropriate.

if there was something inappropriate going on, he’s just outed himself very unnecessarily, hasn’t he?

Maybe it was to show his comment was meant to be light-hearted? A winky face is even more likely to be taken the wrong way.

Maybe he ends all his messages with xxx? Did you look?

Maybe he just likes you as a pal and was feeling affectionate.

Or maybe he's got a huge crush on you, so overwhelming that he doesn't mind everybody on your socials knowing about it.
