Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor - you have blood on your hands

Am I being unreasonable to say that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor - the Duke of York and member of the Royal Family has blood on his hands following the tragic suicide of Virginia Giuffre?

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has faced zero consequences for his role in Virginia Giuffre‘s sexual abuse and trafficking because he’s rich and his powerful mummy paid off the victim and the British police failed to pursue charges against him. To be clear, while the age of consent in the UK is 17 years old this does not apply to trafficking victims and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has never faced criminal charges.

He probably thinks he’s got away with it now she’s gone.

I’m sure there’s so much to this story than people know but at the end of the day, this woman had kids and family and the loss of her in tragic circumstance will be more than enough to deal with, let alone all the speculation and comments. Sympathies with her family.

Agreed. I don’t understand why people can’t respect the deceased’s family by stopping speculation. Just found out that Virginia Roberts/Giuffre has passed away. She was clearly very troubled due to her traumatic life experiences. And I just saw another thread on here that she somehow faked a bus accident so clearly she needed help. It’s sad that she didn’t get the help and support that she needed and has now sadly taken her own life.

Charles was friends with Laurens Van Der Post , Jimmy Saville, nephew of Mounbatten, Bishop Peter Ball - all notorious paedophiles. Indeed he remained friends with the Bishop and helped him with accomodation after he was outed just like Andrew with Epstein. There is something seriously wrong in their moral compasses to put it mildly.

So, in fact, you are NOT referring to ANY Windsor peadophiles.

@Muffinmam he does not have blood on his hands. By all accounts, she appears to be a violent abuser herself, and due before the court. I have very little sympathy for her, and her family.

Regardless of anyone's views on P A, please can we stop the attacks on VG. Whatever the truth, a human being has felt so desperate she has left her children and ended her own life. That's a tragedy in anyone's book

Show a bit of decency.

Wanttobefree2 · 26/04/2025 08:37

I just wonder where her parents were in all of this, why was she allowed to be hanging around with these super rich guys and flying all over the world.

AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta · 26/04/2025 08:36

@Meadowfinch I'm not implying that they had sex. As has been pointed out, there is no evidence of any relationship at all.

This is very true, but it also makes the fact he gave her an out of court sum of money a very strange thing to have done.

Never2many · 26/04/2025 08:36

PinkyFlamingo · 26/04/2025 08:30

And you know that exactly how?

A paedophile is someone with an interest in prepubescent children. But is a term which people on MN frequently use to describe older men having sex with younger women.

There is 0 suggestion that Andrew is a paedophile, and to suggest that he is could land you into serious hot water legally as that is defamation.

Added to which, the misuse of the term paedophile diminishes the abuse which genuine victims of paedophiles go through.

BitOutOfPractice · 26/04/2025 08:35

The ripples from this terrible business just keep going on and on - for everyone involved except him it seems.

That poor woman. She’s been through so much.

@Muffinmam the reason people keep telling you that the age of consent is 16 is because you say 17 in your op. A typo I assume. And I know that doesn’t apply in the case of trafficking.

Ilovetowander · 26/04/2025 08:34

Zonder · 26/04/2025 08:25

Do you think the £12m pay off has anything to do with this?

The police did not prosecute, Andrew was not charged and was not found guitly, therefore he is innocent. Reports say that the royal family put pressure on him to pay as they didn't want a court circus which given what has happened with Prince Harry I can believe but I don't know if that is true or not. The fact remains he has not been convicted or even charged with anything. If someone made an allegation against my family member or friends when they had not been charged or convicted I would be fiercely defending them. The principle of innocent until proved guilty is in my view fundamental - otherwise as a society everyone could in theory allegations however unfounded.

How do we know anything for sure? How do we know she was abused by Andrew? It’s her word against his. Nothing has ever been proved or disproved.

I'm not claiming to know anything one way or the other but I do have to wonder why Andrew paid VG off to the tune of £3million? It's not proof of any wrongdoing but equally it does raise an eyebrow.

Meadowfinch · 26/04/2025 08:32

Ukisgaslit · 26/04/2025 08:26

”I can well believe Andrew to be arrogant, entitled, not very bright, a poor judge of character, too easily flattered but I do not believe he would have sex with anyone without consent. No-one in his position, with years of being in the public eye, and of the gutter press, would be that stupid.”

@Meadowfinch

you seem to be implying in your post that Virginia Guiffre was able to consent to sex with Andrew Windsor

Are you not aware that trafficked women and girls are not able to consent ??

I'm not implying that they had sex. As has been pointed out, there is no evidence of any relationship at all.

All I"ve seen is a picture of a teenager standing by a Royal, the kind of celebrity snap people post on social media every day.

How do you know?

More pertinently, how do you know anyone isn't a paedophile? Or how do you know otherwise?

Themagicfarawaytreeismyfav · 26/04/2025 08:32

Oh and i also believe that Prince Andrew is an odious prick but that doesn’t make what she says true.

Ukisgaslit · 26/04/2025 08:32

@m00rfarm

See savory’s post above and educate yourself a little

TimeFlysWhenYoureHavingRum · 26/04/2025 08:31

I read she was trafficked from Mar a Lago where she was working as a waitress for Trump. They are all involved.

Never2many · 26/04/2025 08:31

Honestly, the need for people to constantly bring Andrew into this is tedious.

There is no doubt that Andrew is a sleaze but VG had a far more complicated life than that, some of which was of her own making.

She was estranged from her children and by all accounts had a restraining order against her.

I’m sure that far more is going to come out about her in the media over the coming days/weeks and not all of it is going to be pleasant reading.

But hey she wasn’t responsible for any of the wrongs in her life because “Andrew”.

I think she topped herself because she exposed herself for the liar she is with the being dead in four days lie! She was obviously a deeply disturbed woman with lots of issues and anyone who believes 100% everything she said is more than a little bit naive and stupid.

PinkyFlamingo · 26/04/2025 08:30

he is not a paedophile

nottheplan · 26/04/2025 08:29

You'll get a lot of Royal apologists on this thread. The Royals can do no wrong in many minds. I completely agree with you, had he been a meer mortal he'd have faced the wrath of the public. This is just shoved under the carpet. Now had he ever dared to leave the Royal family he would be absolutely hated and vindicated(as Harry)

Middleagedstriker · 26/04/2025 08:29

NattyTurtle59 · 26/04/2025 08:23

So of all the things that have happened in her life, including being estranged from her children, it was Prince Andrew who tipped her over the edge??

Do get a grip - maybe try and find something useful to occupy your time with.

You realise that sexual abuse and trafficking as a young adult often has lifelong mental health problems. She also had to deal with the world's media and people pulling her shreds on social media as a result of Prince Andrew actions. She wouldn't have been made inadvertently famous had it not been for his involvement.

m00rfarm · 26/04/2025 08:29

Ukisgaslit · 26/04/2025 07:31

@Iudncuewbccgrcb
Your post is incorrect

Andrew was in full regalia at Charles’ coronation . The complete velvet curtains nonsense

He has NOT lost his home - that is suggested every so often in the tabloids to keep the stupid believing that Andrew is in trouble with the Windsors . He isn’t . He has not lost his home and Charles pays for his security

William had Andrew in the front seat driving him somewhere- photographed doing so . Kate in the back
The Windsors see nothing wrong with what he did . They have a history of protecting pedophiles

No one has suggested he is a paedophile. So your comment is more than a little weird.

Exactly

The age of consent is not aged 16 when a person is trafficked for sex.

I swear, the Firm must be paying for people to spread disinformation.

She was sex trafficked. She was under the age of 18 when she was trafficked so it was rape. He never faced charges.

You said "While the age of consent in the UK is 17 years old...". You know perfectly well that pp were correcting that. It is misleading to attack them and pretend they are spreading misinformation.
