AIBU to think he's bloody sexy? He's lovely looking and seems to be so nice personality wise too. He can cook! He's certainly making my Sunday afternoon nicer.

Definitely not Gino DI Campo though he's not a favourite of mine either from waaay back .

Anyone remember Ross Burden ? He was a popular fixture on Ready Steady Cook and quite serious .

James Martin is another one where I would not be even slightly shocked if some stuff came out about his dodginess.

I remember Anthony Worrall Thompson. Seeing him cook really put me off eating out for a while, as I imagined that someone like him was in the kitchen putting his weird sweaty hands on my food. Even now, I have to really work hard not to focus on this thought.

A few of you have mentioned James Martin. I agree he is good looking but he is so full of himself. Years ago I saw him doing the cooking demo at Shrewsbury Flower Show. Just before he plated up, he got the plate and licked it all over! Put the food on then offered someone from the front row to come and try it.
It was just weird!

This is dreadful. Poor person!

He's lost a lot of weight. However, I hate his attitude towards his customers. Baked potato £20 small posh potato filled with everyday ingredients but a cheffy ham on top. He could have used local ingredients, it would have been cheaper. We worked out one of the ciders he suggests matching his dessert to had over a 100% mark up.

Not unreasonable at 100% markup

Ones that give me the creeps are Anthony Worrell Thompson (he was on Christmas cookery show trying to be flirty with a younger female guest and she looked very uncomfortable )
And the one who does guest appearances with Jamie Oliver - Italian man , cannot recall his name ( Gino or Ginelli ) anyway a nope from me.

Marcus W is lovely , his programme on his garden and his animals ( but he knows they're going in the pot )

@CharlotteCChapel come to think of it I saw recently a show from his pub kitchen (not HF) somewhere in Herts maybe ? In a town centre anyway he actually said on this show how he was berated in the press for his jacket potato price then went in to explain why they justified the price tag

I don’t find him good looking at all.

He gives me used car salesman vibes for some reason but that could just be I’ve met one at some point who looked like him and my subconscious stored it.

I’m not sure I’ve ever found a chef attractive.

Such an odd thing to say, given the head chef at The Coach is a woman, and she was head chef previously at the Bull & Bear under his stewardship too.

And yet you can go and have a set lunch in his 2 Michelin star pub for £55 or his 1 Michelin star place for £15.

So it's quite disingenuous to claim everything is overpriced as it plainly just isn't. He pays his staff properly. And you know you don't have to eat or drink there, yeah?!

I cannot forgive him for "Creme de LE creme", which is what he always said, when that isn't at all correct in any way. Couldn't even watch that show just for that reason. Get in la poubelle!
