Money talks eh. What a load of bollocks. Bunch of millionaires in tight suits going on a ten minute mission with rhe girlfriend of a dodgy billionaire. Girl power my arse.

More self indulgent rich people engaging in a vulgar display of wealth.

jazzybelle · 14/04/2025 23:07

I don't know about the others but for Katy Perry, it was nothing more than attention-seeking. Hasn't she got a tour coming up?

EasternStandard · 14/04/2025 23:05

I missed all the hype and just saw an image today. Totally bonkers and so much that could be spent on rather than Katy Perry and co

jcyclops · 14/04/2025 23:01

I was really angry at various news reports calling them "crew" when they were actually passengers.

Justlovedogs · 14/04/2025 22:58

HappiestSleeping · 14/04/2025 22:22

They didn't go into orbit. Or space even. Not really. They weren't high enough. It's a bit of an extreme plane ride really. It was the same when Bezos went up.

And they call them 'astronauts'. What a brilliant way to downplay the achievements of every true astronaut that has gone before them, including all those that lost their lives 😞

HobnobsChoice · 14/04/2025 22:52

Hen Parties really are getting out of control..never mind a weekend in Ibiza or a week in Vegas now you've got to go to space with your gal pals.

TheAutumnCrow · 14/04/2025 22:48

New lines of make-up and parfum being branded as we speak

Event Horizon: the perfect primer for avoiding those disfiguring gravitational 'tweak' mishaps

Daisy Daisy Daisy Space Scent: a great cover-up aroma for those moments when seeing The Whole Of The Moon proves to be just a little too exciting for some

Love Goddess Above! A range of eyeshadows with top notes reminiscent of feathers, lips, boot-cut pant suits and that hairstyle that every woman in the US on tv currently has and that really needs to stop now

CameraGown · 14/04/2025 22:48

Lost all respect for Katy Perry now

Mapletreelane · 14/04/2025 22:47

I genuinely thought it was a scientific experiment, to test the impact of zero gravity on cosmetic fillers?

The whole thing was grotesque. The screaming. The kissing the earth. The space suits. It was like a premonition of a chavtastic hen weekend to Mars in 200 years time. Belittled all the amazing females working in STEM. Just awful.

Gloriousgardener11 · 14/04/2025 22:37

Wish she’d stayed up there!

Came here to say the same.

MissBattleaxe · 14/04/2025 22:42

Man with too much money spends it impressing women. Meanwhile, children starve or die of preventable disease.

Lisbeth50 · 14/04/2025 22:40

I stumbled upon this & ended up watching the whole thing. Very bizarre. I thought it actually was a space mission but they were there for 11 minuted. Totally unnecessary & embarrassing.

LilacPony · 14/04/2025 22:38

If there’s one thing that can be taken from it, it is to look up and follow Amanda Nguyen. She’s a true scientist & astronaut and is a civil rights activist who changed SA laws

NotDarkGothicMama · 14/04/2025 22:38

I heard some of it on the radio earlier. Someone was repeatedly saying "oh my goddess" while someone else was squealing about the moon, then the presenter told us in deadpan about KP kissing the ground. It's like a short Legally Blonde set on a penis rocket.

Reallybadidea · 14/04/2025 22:38

PerkingFaintly · 14/04/2025 22:26

It certainly looked like a load of bollocks, yes.

It did not. No bollocks were visible.

It looked like an entirely bollock-less penis.

I was just going to say that it looked like a giant dildo 🤣

Gloriousgardener11 · 14/04/2025 22:37

Wish she’d stayed up there!

LobeliaBaggins · 14/04/2025 22:33

I meant sorry to @HappiestSleeping.

I can't believe it was even news worthy. Wife and I were channel hoping and stumbled over it. I can't believe it was live in sky news and BBC.

I daresay it was a bit of a rush for the participants, but in my mind, it's a bit like saying 'several ladies caught a bus'. It's demeaning to all the women who have really achieved things.

DuckieDodgyHedgyPiggy · 14/04/2025 22:36

Yes, what was that stuff about their trip being good for the Earth?

Romeiswheretheheartis · 14/04/2025 22:35

Even the ITV newsreader couldn't hide his sarcasm at that self indulgent nonsensical speech she made.

Arlanymor · 14/04/2025 22:34

Space tourism for rich people. Nothing to get excited about really is it? The tone is all so self-aggrandrising and self-indulgent. I hope that all of their mascara was 'space proof'...

I meant sorry to @HappiestSleeping.

Annonymiss123 · 14/04/2025 22:32

Just watched it on the BBC News. I had second hand embarrassment when KP exited the capsule and kissed the ground! 🙄

LobeliaBaggins · 14/04/2025 22:31

Sorry! Tone lost and all that...

I would love to hear what Valentina Tereshkova has to say about this narcissistic bunch of wankers.

Sampler · 14/04/2025 22:29

I eyerolled into next week at that epic load of self indulgent wankery.
Prayers their filler was ok 🙏🏼
