Was my new boyfriend disrespectful or misplaced humour - incident during sex

A bit grossed out by something my BF of about 4 months did last night. We have a really jokey relationship but I think he crossed the line.

We were being intimate and he let out a really exaggerated fart then burst out laughing. He obviously meant to do it and thought I’d find it funny. I stopped what we were doing as the mood was gone and it stunk. He said sorry after but I feel like even with a jokey relationship, that’s going too far?

I been with my husband for 7 years, I would not find it funny if he farted in my face during sex...

Every lid has a pot I suppose...

OP, maybe his ex girlfriend found it funny and they would fart and make puking noises together during sex?

Its hardly the end of the world, now he knows how you reacted he won't laugh again.. but it he might let one rip again and how will you react then? What about if you let one out, will you be OK with him being repulsed by you or would you rather he laughed it off?

It’s fairly obvious..you feel the build up and tighten your muscles to force it out as opposed to to hold it in. Why on earth you would do that in the middle of sex though..throat one, I cant explain!

He forcibly farted in your face? That’s absolutely disgusting.

A fart accidentally slipping out at an inopportune moment is one thing, but it sounds like he very much did this on purpose.

(Also- is 69 still a thing?)

It seems like it could be fairly normal/natural in the context of your relationship if he'd done it by accident or hadn't ben able to help it and then made a joke to ease any embarrassment. But you say he actually farted intentionally? If you're sure about that then yeah, I'd not be impressed at all. There's a time and place for twelve year old boy mode, and during sex is usually not it.

I’ve never understood why some men find that level of repulsiveness hilarious. Bet if you did it to him he wouldn’t find it hilarious. Sometimes you can’t help it as it’s a normal bodily function but we can all have a level of self control & if it really couldn’t be helped then he should have been mortified & apologetic.
