To wonder what happened to these old Mumsnetters?

There was Kewcumber who adopted from abroad as a single lady, there was a mum who always talked about her son Wilf, and there was a very direct, blunt and often right woman who I think wrote with no punctuation, who seemed to be on every thread and gave me lots of harsh truths! Going back a good decade now…

Anyone know what happened to them? Anyone else you wonder about?

I miss Worra, and hope AnyFucker is still around.

Another memorable poster was GhostSpirit, but I’m pretty sure she’s still here under a different name.

Anyfucker is always posting on here. I don’t know how people miss her because I see her posting all the time.

She always appears on these threads as if she’s long gone but she’s right here 😂

I think I recognise old posters under different names occasionally. Just the odd thing they say.

I've been on MN for over 17 years, but started changing my name almost daily a couple of years ago, after an old MNer recommended doing so for various reasons.

Loads of people knew who xenia was in real life, she shared a lot of details both on here and elsewhere that made it very obvious to work out even now. I think she does still post occasionally

I remember bluntnes!
For sheer sharpness tempered by humanity it would have to be Bertrand Russell.
She always had an interesting perspective and managed to have an edginess without meanness. I haven’t seen posts from her for years though think I may detect her humour in some

Oh jesus christ, ALWAYSRIGHT was the single worst human being I've ever come across, I left BC because I could not stand to see her name anymore. Please say she doesn't lurk here.

She was also shit hot on safeguarding.
She apparently upset someone/people at Mumsnet Towers and was permanently banned.
I don't know any more but i think it is unlikely she would be allowed back, even if she wanted to be.

I remember when people were losing loved ones and were unable to see elderly relatives in care homes, she started a very tone deaf thread moaning about not being able to visit her holiday home.

I think sadly it turned a few of her 'loyal followers' against her.

I have been here under various names since 2001 ish. I remember Riven, Willow, Thom Cat, Moon Dog ( so cantankerous), Xenia, Cod Worra and so many more.

More recently Pamela. I think about her, Jacob and Keir often

Also, I think, bloodywhitecat? I think she was a fosterer and I believe her husband died? I think of her often.

I don’t often look at usernames tbh but Anyfucker and bluntness always stood out.
