To wonder what happened to these old Mumsnetters?

There was Kewcumber who adopted from abroad as a single lady, there was a mum who always talked about her son Wilf, and there was a very direct, blunt and often right woman who I think wrote with no punctuation, who seemed to be on every thread and gave me lots of harsh truths! Going back a good decade now…

Anyone know what happened to them? Anyone else you wonder about?

Getorfmyland was very funny - especially that time she posted whilst on some kind of pain relief (didn’t she also change her bed sheets daily?!)
Atyourcervix was lovely - very soothing especially to women in early stages of labour.
Maryz and AnyFucker gave me amazing advice at separate times and changed how I saw things.
Hecate was just lovely.
Pinot was awful.

Who was the poster who was back and forth to Sweden to care for her parents?
Custardo was fab, and gobby.
Xenia is much more chilled these days. I'm polar opposite to her (single parent, never achieved anything) but I have a lot of time for her and she does have a point.

I forgot to mention in my earlier post about Shiney and her date to the zoo ( penguin enclosure from what I can recall) I think I am friends with her on Facebook and she is still hilarious

I think it’s good that era has gone.

The sycophancy was palpable. Posters would suck up to regulars like they were celebrities.

I think many are still here but name change regularly. I have been here 15/16 years or so now. I had the same name for years then started to change it. I change my name every couple of months or so depending on how active I have been.

worraliberty seemed to be on every thread and she had some good advice, I just found her superior towards the end. I’m glad the ‘Mumsnet royalty’ thing has passed!

I always liked Kettrickensmiled's posts. Not sure if they were one of the OGs but I remember the name from a few years ago when I used to spend a lot of my nights on here when my eldest was a baby.

does anyone remember sad/sassysusan. Her daughter died aged 3. She was banned for trolling but I think she was a genuine bereaved mother who also trolled under a different name

I saw Wilfs mum on here a few weeks ago I think it was. I only remember it as Wilf posts a fair bit on the city where I live fbk page. Never actually met him but he does post a lot about being lonely.
