We do it Sunday but some do it Saturday before bed. Just asking as the clocks went forward

My contribution was to change the clock on the microwave. I have 2 ovens so they need to be set too. I’m happy if they vaguely show the same time but I left those well alone as my son can’t stand it if they’re not synchronised to the nth millisecond. He then went & fiddled with the microwave as well.

Gustavo77 · 30/03/2025 22:48

Mine all change themselves automatically.

Laserwho · 30/03/2025 22:45

The only thing I need to change is the thermostat.

BashfulClam · 30/03/2025 22:44

Don’t have any to change. Smart watch, phone and bedside clock are all automatic. Our car even did it without our help.

ThinWomansBrain · 30/03/2025 22:42

most of mine change themselves.
the car is such a faff I don't bother - I think it's showing the correct time now, I use it more in the summer.
Rarely wear a watch, will try and remember to change it when I next wear it.

ladygindiva · 30/03/2025 22:39

I'll probably do mine around Wednesday at the earliest tbh

Brahumbug · 30/03/2025 22:31

All those responses saying they don't change them as they will be correct in six months. British summer time last 7 months not six! GMT is 5 months.😁

TheChosenTwo · 30/03/2025 22:27

Only the oven one which dh must have done this morning because it’s right.
I can’t work out how to change my car one BUT it’s correct now 😂 it’s been wrong since October!

There was only the time on the oven that needed to be changed. I changed it this morning, even though we don't actually use the clock/timer on the oven.

FixThisKindOfFeeling · 30/03/2025 19:11

All our clocks change themselves.

Speckyfourfries · 30/03/2025 19:06

Husband did it before he went to bed...I didnt realise so did it when I woke up before everyone else and feel like I've been in a total time pickle all day 🤣

StMarie4me · 30/03/2025 12:48

I have none that don’t change themselves!

This! Even the car updates itself :)

SallyWD · 30/03/2025 18:16

Sunday morning. Only have two clocks.

RainbowSlimeLab · 30/03/2025 17:52

I did mine mid afternoon yesterday. But that's because I have a young child and I was trying to reduce the impact tomorrow morning as much as possible. I'll see how it goes.

Zanatdy · 30/03/2025 17:31

we have no clocks that don’t change automatically.

orangesandlemonssaythebellsofstclements · 30/03/2025 17:17

The only actual clock I have (that doesn't automatically change itself) is purely decorative anyway as it hasn't had new batteries for years 😆

IntheSpaghetti · 30/03/2025 17:10

I just wait 6 months for it to change back.

Me too. I spend the next six months adding on the hour.

clary · 30/03/2025 17:13

Saturday night. I had to pick one of my DC up from work at 11pm so I did it when I got in – then realised I better go to bed as it was gone midnight haha. Did the car while I waited for DC.

Edit: colleague said oh surely they all do it automatically? I said well not my car, my oven or the analogue clock in the kitchen (which obvs takes 10 seconds). He said his oven clock had been wrong for years #stressful

IntheSpaghetti · 30/03/2025 17:10

I just wait 6 months for it to change back.

boulevardofbrokendreamss · 30/03/2025 17:02

I’ve only got one that needs manually changing, oh and the boiler and the car. Newbie occurred to me to do it on Saturday night

Dinosweetpea · 30/03/2025 14:31

Always the night before when we go to bed. We seem to have lots that need changing!

JackGrealishsCalves · 30/03/2025 13:25

Bedside clock the night before, rest of them in the morning (or weeks later if they areca faff 😁)

OwlBasket · 30/03/2025 13:12

When the children were small we did it after dinner on the Saturday evening to minimise disruption. Now they’re older I just do it the Sunday

yeesh · 30/03/2025 13:11

We don’t have any that need changing

DoAWheelie · 30/03/2025 13:10

I don't think I've owned a clock that needs manually changing in over 15 years now.
