Do you remind your partner about their own mother on mother's day?

Or do you just leave them to it?

Do you actually buy the card for him?

Do you feel he should do more but you don't get involved?

Just interested 😊 In our case i remind him, but leave him to it AND think he should do more ...

Not usually but we were in a shop with cute 'mum' mugs and presents lately so I suggested he get something.

No! He’s perfectly capable.

I reminded mine over text last night (we don't live together) and he was quite sarcastic - think I offended him!

Possibly fair enough. Won't be reminding him again, anyway.......

CaptainMyCaptain · 25/03/2025 20:44

Of course not.

Londonrach1 · 25/03/2025 20:44

No. Why should I ..he is a fully functioning adult who tbh is better organized than me. He often reminds me.

wombat15 · 25/03/2025 20:44

No way would I remind him and certainly wouldn't buy anything.

Swampdonkey123 · 25/03/2025 20:44

No, DH is well aware he has a mother, so I don't need to remind him.

Purplecatshopaholic · 25/03/2025 20:43

Not my circus… Why would anyone, surely our partners are grown ups….🤔

NoSoupForU · 25/03/2025 20:42

What? No of course I don't. He's a grown man and I'm not his PA.

LizzoBennett · 25/03/2025 20:41

I might remind him a week or so out but usually leave him to it. If he seems under a lot of pressure/stress then I will offer to help by picking something up at the supermarket for such occasions as I am a SAHM and do the big shop.
