I'm so glad it's not just me 🤣. I've never had an ear infection either, although I have blocked my ears occasionally because I assume I'm not letting them flow naturally. I'd love a broken off cotton bud coated in my own earwax to sniff on.

Believe me, I am glad to know someone else does this too.
He left it for about 2 days before telling me about it. Probably for maximum wax and smell.

One time a cotton bud snapped and got stuck in his ear. Yes I know it is bad to stick them in your ear!
Anyway, he asked me to help get it out and then asked if he could have the bud so he could give it a good old sniff.

I poke the strings from hoodies into my ears and smell my own earwax. I absolutely love the smell of my own earwax. The thought of smelling someone else's earwax make me want to vomit, but I love the smell of mine.

I've done it since I was a child.

I use a little bit of torn off and folded paper if I'm not near my floss. I'd be scared about getting my fingernail stuck there too 🤣

Not at all disgusting! Far more enviromentally friendly than using throw away tissues, I have started using hankies as they go in with a normal wash, you pay for them once only and they are not waste.

As for disgusting things, I am not sure I have any apart from the above but men I have known......

Scratching various parts of their bodies and sniffing their fingers
Picking their nose, inspecting it and then flicking it somewhere in a home or car
Not washing their hands....ever, unless in the shower and then I suspect only by coincidence
Licking their plates after a meal

I am joyously single.

I smell my own period blood 🫣 In my defence, I’m ND with sensory issues! I actually learned it’s quite good to do this because if it starts to smell off it can be a sign of an infection.

I also get clots sometimes and squeeze them between the toilet paper to burst them…

It has already been mentioned but I too love picking my nose, obviously just in the privacy of my own home. Especially if it's been a few days- I seem to get huge bogies right in the corners of my nostrils so they come out sort of flattened. I often wipe them on my leggings, admire them, wait until they are bone dry and then pick them off and finally get rid of them in a tissue 😂

We've done a few long road trips in the South West of the USA, lots of desert areas and I love getting cornflake bogeys, incredibly dry and large that I can blow out.

Yikes I feel very righteous as I can’t really think of anything that I do that’s disgusting, don’t think husband does either (but then would I know??)
There’s lots that I see others do…. Not washing hands after toilet, spitting in street etc etc

I shower twice a week, unless I’m on my period, where I shower at least every other day.
I used to shower more often but then having 2 kids under 2 coupled with a shoulder injury reduced the frequency. And I found that I didn’t smell or feel dirty either, but I’m not a sweaty person really

Use a sheet of toilet paper to open the door then drop into the loo. I have been known if the facilities are a bit grim to use a sheet of loo roll to flush the toilet and if you are very clever it gets flushed away. It's a good game😂

See, I don't bother doing this because I know I'm going to wash my hands immediately after touching it... And I always close the lid before flushing because if you don't, then all of the toilet germs will get sprayed up and out! 😷
