If you're a non-meghan markle hater, what's your opinion on her show on netflix?

It's been panned but a lot of the press already hate her, hence my asking

Is it really that bad? I'm in my 30s and it doesn't seem aimed at my age group from the clips online.

There's one bad clip of her correcting mindy kaling on her name but I'm sure that's just been put out to make her look bad 😭

Worth a watch?

They need money. Their security bill alone runs to the hundreds of thousands or even millions a year. If they want to keep doing the charity work (and I actually think they do), they need a source of income. This is one of the more harmless ways they could be raising cash.

Also, in regard to the name, I think William and Harry always used ‘Wales’ as a surname and I think George and Charlotte used ‘Cambridge’ at school (before William became POW) so I think that’s how it works?

I don’t hate her at all but it’s bad. Bland, twee, pointless.

She starts the first episode by making her own bath salts to go in a jar for a guest bedroom. That’s so far off from the reality of my life I was incredulous.

The cake looked nice though and I’d love a stay in the house they’ve rented to make the show..

I don’t hate her, and have little interest in her. However when she was becoming famous for being Harry’s other half, I read an article she’d written and heard of some women’s rights work she’d done. I thought she seemed intelligent and socially aware. It’s a shame she’s not continuing along this line.

And there’s nothing wrong with correcting someone if they get your name wrong!

It isn’t a show that gives, the focus is so simple. I’m not going to come away full of good ideas, so no point watching.

I feel it is a bit ‘look at me and how good my life is’ - perhaps an ill conceived message when the world feels so messy.

Id have to suspend my disbelief quite a lot to think that Megs actually does make bath salts as gifts for her A-list mates... 'Thanks for my Chanel earrings! Enjoy ya bath salts!'

But Kirsty (Allsop)'s Christmas thing had a bit of a following and it's in a similar genre.

Just let her do her thing & switch it over if it's affecting your chi. I do that all the time with the news.

The video is put out by the daily mail, which popped up on my tiktok

It's just her speaking with mindy kaling and saying 'it's so funny that you call me meghan markle when it's meghan Sussex now'

Comes across a bit sarky but I haven't taken it that way, just seemed like an awkward moment. Her haters are having a field day with it all

I’m a non-meghan markle hater but have absolutely zero interest in watching a programme about her. Maybe that’s why I don’t hate her?

It makes me really bewildered, to be honest. She's educated, well spoken, attractive and she and Harry together could have been really positive ambassadors for the Commonwealth that the late Queen was steering them towards. Instead they both just seem hell bent on personal promotion and one disastrous career move after another. I really question what they're actually trying to achieve. It also makes you realise how well managed the Royal Family is.

I also thought it was pretty sweet that she was making the point she and her kids share a name and how great it felt all having the same name.

It's not the kind of show I watch, but I can't imagine it being different to the other 'lifestyley' shows like that. But a certain type of person is going to get worked up regardless

I’m pretty indifferent tbh It’s a bit twee and not my thing but I don’t dislike Meghan/ Harry. Sometimes it does seem like their diamond shoes are too tight.
