To ask you what's the most satisfying thing your body has done?

To bring in a less gross example, running. When I used to be able to sprint, at full speed, felt like I didn't touch the ground.

Fucking hell the human body is amazing.

Washed feet then Put on comfy socks slippers after a long days work!!! Ahhhhh!!!

When I was pregnant, I developed a weird lump under my right armpit. Probably should have done something about it, but I assumed it was something to do with hormones and ignored it.

It got even bigger after my baby arrived, and quite painful, so at about one week post-partum, I pressed it in the shower to see if I could feel what was going on under the skin. Only to find that my right nipple was suddenly leaking milk. So I pressed harder, and milk began squirting out so hard it hit the shower wall.

After about a minute, the armpit lump had totally disappeared. The feeling of relief was glorious.

I was on a train back home from London one day. I had a blind zit on my chin. It was right in the middle and sooo sore but nothing really visible on the surface. Desperately wanted to squeeze it because it was so sore. Got home and went straight up to the magnifying mirror in the bathroom. It exploded with an audible snap when I squeezed it. It was years ago but I've never forgotten it

Everyone is about the poos after their babies,when I tell you the poo I did whilst in labour with baby 1 was the most magnificent thing I've ever done,my partner was with me & he was sure I was pushing out the baby 😂😂 I knew I wasn't as I wasn't even close to that,waters still intact (induction),the relief was amazing as I had the urge for it for ages & I was decidedly delighted as I now felt i wouldn't poop while pushing 🤣

I opened this thread to share my joy at finally being able to do a Dolphin pose properly where your nose touches the mat and feet are flat on the ground and found it was not that kind of thread. I'm going to back away slowly now.

But there's no more satisfying relief than having a
DIY orgasm especially if I'm tired and my body is sore from from something (housework, exercise, not enough rest).

I once had sinusitis. I blew my nose one day and it was like a tap was turned on - this thick, putrid yellow liquid poured out of my nose for ages - INSTANT relief and cure. That was about 10 years ago now 😂 never happened since but man do I long for it to happen when I’m congested!!

My body grew an ovarian cyst the size of a grapefruit holding 2L of fluid . Following removal , the relief of no longer looking pregnant and discovering it was benign was so overwhelming that losing my ovaries at the same time ( thankfully no longer needed ) was no issue at all !

When I was 17, I was walking home after a day out, and developed a terrible stomach ache. So bad I could barely walk. I went to the loo, on the way to bed due to the pain, and without warning, did the longest fart of my life. It went on and on. No idea why I'd built up so much gas. Pain went instantly.

When I saw the title of the thread, I was going to post (boast?) about the time I walked the Pennine Way... These epic poo/spot/ingrown hair stories are far more interesting - and hilarious!

I vividly remember having a spot like that in my teens. I remember where I was, what it felt like, the feeling of triumph when I finally managed to squeeze it out after an epic struggle. I was quite a spotty teenager but that one was probably my most memorable and that was over 40 years ago.

I had the implant, and out of nowhere started developing Bartholin's cysts.

It was HUGE with a big yellow 'head' (puss). It was so painful and I could barely walk.

I know frowned upon, but I popped it whilst looking in the mirror. Wow, the amount of puss and whatnot that came out of it. It absolutely oozed and it reeked, but that relief. I've never felt anything like it. Beyond satisfying.

I had 2 more before I got the implant removed, and never had them again!

Same. I had my wisdom teeth removed when I was early twenties and the ‘stuck crisp’ appeared a few weeks later.

For the most part, I ignored it but my tongue would be drawn to it now and again. Didn’t bother me generally but sometimes I’d wonder what the hell it was. Obviously not enough to get it checked because who has time for that in their invincible early 20s?

10 years later, it randomly worked its way free one afternoon - a thin piece of bone - and I had no idea how much pressure it had created on the rest of my teeth until it wasn’t there any more. My teeth eased back in to place and my jaw almost felt like it went back in to alignment.

i think I stood and looked at the piece of bone for about an hour in sheer amazement.

I'd had an awful virus, full of a cold, blocked up nose etc.

For days I couldn't breathe through my nose, nothing helped unblock it.

One morning I got in the shower and turned the water really hot. I could feel the steam loosening up whatever was in there.

I pressed down on one nostril and blew really hard out of the other one. All of a sudden this huge lump of jelly like snot flew out and hit the shower screen. It was about the size of a small tangerine and really thick and wobbly.

I spent ages in the shower that morning blowing allsorts out of my nose and never felt better

I had a huge spot on my chin, it was rock solid and protruding through the skin like a big yellowy white ball.
It wouldn't squeeze out, it was too tough.
I got a sterile needle and poked it, it pierced right through like stabbing into piece of fruit and when i removed the needle the content started pouring out of its own free will.
When I gave it a squeeze a big hard yellow ball dropped out and left a big empty hole on my chin

Just remembered about the stye I had once. I got some OTC treatment for it but had a bad reaction it literally ballooned up. I could hardly see out of it there was puss dripping from it, it was disgusting. Managed to get a doctor's app and got some antibiotics. This was around 2002 so before camera phones.

I usually a bit squeamish with bodies. But I do get a lot of satisfaction watching vids of people have their ears unblocked.🤢🤣

Nor did we.....We didn't know what had come out of his eye hence why he kept them to show his doctor. To think that they were there for twenty two years......they came from the stump of his arm and travelled. As did the piece of metal. There was a third time but I can't remember what it was. Doctor said it was unusual that it took so many years but I had never heard of it happening before

In my early twenties I had my wisdom teeth removed. Weeks later I went on holiday to Tunisia and after the flight my jaw became swollen on one side and quite sore. I didn’t link it to the extraction weeks earlier because I thought it had healed. I could feel what I thought was a crisp stuck into my gum at the back of my mouth and kept poking at it with my tongue. It was becoming annoying so I sat in my hotel room with my tweezers and hand mirror to have a look and could see something stuck in my gum. I grabbed it with my tweezers and pulled out an entire sliver of my jaw. The bone just kept coming, it was so long. Slightly terrifying yet satisfying. I wish I’d kept it.

These are compulsive reading. I had a series of cysts on my scalp and while been driven home by my now in-laws one popped. Waves of pus came out - gross. I also had a sore toe and dh pulled out a whole bundle of dog hairs that had formed a screw of sorts and had drilled through the skin between my toes so I had a hole all the way through. I dislocated my thumb and jerked it back in which felt good but whatever the crack was in my neck when the chiropractor adjusted me was primal. My neck has had twice the range of motion ever since!
