I've been in hospital for a small procedure which left me with lots of trapped wind. I've been home for 2 days, turned over In bed this afternoon and did a completely silent but REALLY long burp which felt like it deflated my whole body and all the pain in my upper back and shoulders just went. It felt so relieving and satisfying.
My sister once pulled a hair from her foot only to find it was really long and had somehow wound over and under every toe and when she pulled it , she felt it on each one.

That’s a technique called dry needling in which the physio moves the needle in a trigger point so that the muscle spasms and the relaxes. Beautiful technique albeit a bit painful

It was absolutely amazing, and to this day I believe it saved my shoulder from a longer term injury. I definately ate my words, and when it works it definitely works! The lady that did it was great, and lovely so she really put me at ease, which also helped. My back was so sore at this point I barely felt the needles; I think they were a nice distraction if anything. The deep tissue massage on the other hand; the next day was hell.

Clicking my joints (not dangerously so), it just feels great and like it releases stress. Honestly I could do with a personal massage therapist, that would just stretch my legs, and click me. Oh I also remember having acupuncture after a car accident. I was really reluctant as thought it was complete nonsense. I was completely wrong, one of the pins the physiotherapist put in started moving like crazy, and hit the exact spot; I could feel so much tension dispersing it was amazing.

When I was 14 or 15, I’d had a terrible cough/cold for months, that wouldn’t shift (parents accused me of smoking rather than seeking any further medical attention 🙄).

I was on holiday in Florida with my mum and waiting at a bus stop. The humidity had improved my symptoms somewhat but I still felt congested. Suddenly I felt something in the back of my throat that I started coughing out. I managed to get hold of it with my fingers and pulled. What slid out of my head was a rope of semi-solid green mucus about 30cm long which slapped down onto my forearm upon exit. I was horrified but the relief was incredible and I still think of it 30 years later!

I'd had a really heavy cold and my sinuses were quite painful. This went on for days and then one time I blew my nose and I swear a chicken nugget came out!
I was totally amazed. God knows how it could have fitted through my nose.
I googled it and it is quite rare. No, it wasn't a chicken nugget but a build up of infection. It was exactly like a nugget but without a crispy skin.

Bloody jealous, thats what I am. 😂

Drank far too much at a wedding last week, clearly more then my body could process. The sheer joy of vomiting and feeling instantly better. It was a total ‘hallelujah’ moment
That happened to me once.
I was on DH's black tie works do and I hadn't kept tabs on the drink. Suddenly I felt really woozy and I knew I had far too much. I made it to the ladies. Thankfully no one else was there. I was sick. Within minutes I felt normal again.
I drank water for the rest of the evening and had no hang over next morning.
Never again though! I always keep count now!

My ear once just let out a massive warm oozy blob of ear wax and my god it was orgasmic

chubbychopsticks · 03/03/2025 04:09

I am always having to hear stories about how her mum is "too nice" and "does everything for her", (her dad is dead, doted on though, bought her breakfast in bed every school morning!) to which I reply, "well, I've raised my kids to have some life skills", and the last time after I said that I had to endure a very awkward sit-down meeting about how she thinks I criticise her mother. FFS! I am very calm with them during these sit-down chats and hold my own, I think but I am seeing another side from the responses on here today...

I would not be having ANY sit down chats. What the actual??

This is your house!

Not me but back when I was working in beauty therapy I was doing a facial on someone and they were telling me that they had the big mole on their eyebrow for as long as they could remember. It wasn't a mole and it was the most beautiful, satisfying blackhead extraction I've ever seen.

Funnywonder · 03/03/2025 00:45

Oh yeah, just remembered the foot long clot that came out of my nostril after a 3 hour nosebleed when I was a teenager😬 That was very satisfying indeed!

Funnywonder · 03/03/2025 00:43

After months of pregnancy related nausea, I developed a cough which was so severe, it made me throw up. The relief of actually BEING sick as opposed to FEELING sick was immense. I know throwing up is horrible, but feeling as if you need to, but nothing happening, really is unbearable.

Prolonged multiple full body orgasms orgasms

To be fair, there was one time I finally realised what all the fuss was about with oral sex. I found it a bit boring before that, but fucking hell!!

I've also got one particular sex toy that will half kill you with orgasms. Now that was a good find!

I am immediately name changing now haha

Readinstead · 03/03/2025 00:24

I had a horrible chesty cough, the type where you cough so much you end up heaving. One morning I coughed up a solid but slightly gelatinous bright green ball which had spiky darker green bits on one side and was just under an inch in diameter. It was horrible but fascinating and every time I have a cough I hope for a repeat.

I have also had the nasal 'slug' as reported by previous posters. Holding one nostril closed and blowing my nose and out came 3-4 inches of jelly stuff - this hasn't happened for a while but thanks pp for reminding me 😄

The other satisfying thing was having the cast removed after breaking my wrist. Being able to scratch my arm and peel off the cruddy skin - bliss

The first poo after having my second baby.

I swear it weighed more than the child, and took more effort to deliver. Had anyone else been in the room I'd have wrapped it in a blanket and posed for a picture.

It just took me several attempts to read this out to DP as I was laughing so much 😂

I had a really bad cold when I was a teenager, when I woke up after a long sleep, the left side of my nose was completely blocked and the right side wasn't and I had the urge to pick it as it felt so crusty, I pulled out the greenest, crystallized piece of snot which was the entire inner of my right nostril. It had a tail on it which came from my throat. Think kryptonite 😂I could not believe the colour of the size of it and still think about it to this day, I am in my 50's now.

This is about my DH, he said the top of his leg was sore and asked me to look at to see if I could see why, it had been sore for a few days and upon looking he had a cluster of boils with yellow heads, turns out to be carbuncles.

I left him to go and ring the doctors for an appointment and the silly bugger had popped some as wanted some relief, I came back into the bathroom and the smell was absolutely disgusting and so much yellow/green bloody puss everywhere, he said they exploded with just a gentle squeeze, but the pain had disappeared on popping them. The doctor bollocked him for popping them and he got antibiotics to clear up any infection.

Yeah, one of those moments I didn't know could exist until it existed 😂

chickenpieandchips · 02/03/2025 21:44
  1. The post c-section poo. Had to hold my stitches in place!
  2. My daughter had adenoids when younger. She was basically born snotty. In the end we used to roll up tissue and pull at the snot and start pulling and wrapping it around the tissue. It would go on and on. It was lovely. Used to get several spectators. Adenoids and tonsils removed. No more snot (or snoring).
  3. Those lovely huge spots/blackheads that go pop. Love is my DH buying the best spot/blackhead removal set for Xmas.

Last week actually, I was in absolute agony from a terrible migraine. Couldn't move my head or eyes, pain travelling down my neck and even hurt to blink. After a couple of hours of this I was making deals with God to come and take me out because death would be preferable when I did the most incredible bout of projectile vomiting and migraine instantly cleared.

Same here - as though my stomach has twisted itself causing the migraine and the force of the vomiting makes the stomach revert back into shape then, ping, instant relief.

It’s when you have a good, big poo that leaves no evidence. You know you did it, you felt it pass, but it shot straight round the u-bend, and when you wiped there was - nothing.

Thoroughly weird. Thoroughly satisfying, like you body has done something magical.

A huge shuddering orgasm, any day.

TaterTots68 · 02/03/2025 20:58

I love a big fart. A big loud one that feels like such a relief. Also a big satisfying sneeze. Having a wee after holding it for ages is bliss too.

Omg. Same, genuinely. Too weird!
