To ask if this is an emergency?

Posting here mainly for traffic.

The last week or so I've felt terrible. Finally took an iron tablet and felt so much better.
Problem is that better didn't last very long so I took another one..then another and then another. All together 80mg, one packet is mixed with other things and one is just 20mg.
I've convinced myself I'm going to die. Please someone reassure me I'm going to be okay

Yes the other is a multivitamin

I’m confused. What have you taken? Mixed tables like a multivitamin or just pure iron?

iron tables take like 4-6 weeks to start building iron stores in your body when taken correctly. See a GP and get a proper prescription with some proper dosing instructions.

in the meantime it’s not clear what you’ve taken multiple of and if that’s in one day. If you have overdosed on something then yes seek medical attention

Look on the instructions for how to take the meds. It should say how much you are allowed in what time frame. If you've taken more than that, get to A+E.

Seek advice from 111 in the first instance

Any overdose of iron compounds should be treated as an emergency

One is just iron that should've said. Sorry, heads in a spin
