Went shopping today & saw this muzzled dog opposite. Gave me a shock as I v rarely see muzzled dogs in my area & never ones that resemble XL Bullies. I know the pic is blurred,

If you want people to comment on a photo, it’s best not to attach one you’ve taken with a potato…

CherryRipe1 · 01/03/2025 15:23

This is a wind-up

AcquadiP · 01/03/2025 15:21

It's impossible to say from that blurry photo. I'm no fab of the breed but if was an XL Bully, it's tied up, muzzled and minding its own business. What's the issue?

Oh please...did you really think my intentions in posting this were completely serious?

I've been pulling your leg a bit, I admit.. MNetters😂I had a miserably long uni essay last night to finish late & I sensed MN could come to the rescue- this thread is gold...so funny! Esp the poster who suggested poor Rover was smoking drugs. But they're all great.

Seriously tho, I took the photo & posted also bc I did want to know what breed it was. It's true that I'd never seen a muzzled dog which resembled a XL Bully. I used to go to school every day along a route where dogs would often jump up at me, & though in theory I love them, in practice I am quite nervous. The XL Bully era scared the hell out of me, & I always thanked my lucky stars I'd never seen one in an area near me.

Edited

I think you posted it seriously then realised how embarrassing it was and now are back tracking!

Dancingatthepinkponyclub · 01/03/2025 15:15

What?! It this a joke!
How the hell is anyone going to distinguish WTF that is!

Balloonhearts · 01/03/2025 15:14

That could be the Loch Ness monster for all we know in that pic.

Grammarnut · 01/03/2025 15:14

Too blurry to tell but the shape is wrong for a bulldog of any sort - it has no waist, and all bulldogs do.

😂😂

I genuinely don’t understand how people cope in their day to day life!

I still can’t comprehend why OP took a photo and took the time to start a thread on MN.
I don’t understand the reason or what she wanted from it.

Is an entry for the I Spy book of unidentifiable things?

LovelyLeitrim · 01/03/2025 07:02

Is it a bird?
is it a plane?
Just what is it?

Bicycle repairman?

GinAndGooseberries · 01/03/2025 15:06

I think it's a donkey that's got lost on the way to the stables to help Mary.

JulesJules · 01/03/2025 15:06

Ah, lovely to see the MN bat.

The photo is clearly (if you squint) a pantomime horse

LastHeraldMage · 01/03/2025 15:06

could be my cat - he's a chonker

MissDoubleU · 01/03/2025 15:04

Can you believe this XL Bully, it’s UNMUZZLED! Reported it to the authorities (the daily mail) immediately.

Looks like a cow to me!

528htz · 01/03/2025 15:00

It needs to see the groomer and possibly have some dental care 🧐

XenoBitch · 01/03/2025 14:51

Yes, it is an XL bully. You can tell by it's little eyes and the sharp teeth. So easy to tell by this photo. I suggest you send it to the police as evidence of an XL bully out in public.
I would image they would come arrest you for your crimes against photography. Then insist you call the council as someone has clearly just fly tipped a grey velvet futon.

verityveritas · 01/03/2025 14:10

I wondered where I left my lab experiment.

ThePoshUns · 01/03/2025 12:58

Shakeyourbaublesandsmile · 01/03/2025 12:47

I think what I’ve learnt from this thread and I need to identify as a fat lab due to genes and removed my muzzle - people might stop staring at me on the school run 🤣

Goody2ShoesAndTheFilthyBeast · 01/03/2025 12:12

That's either speedy gonzales or a road runner.

Hard to tell.

Did you happen to see a coyote chasing it? If so then I'd go with road runner.

Meep meep.

It’s also not clear as to whether it’s taxidermied and/or smoking a blunt.

I just spat my coffee all over my keyboard. Thanks. I really needed a laugh today. 😂

Laiste · 01/03/2025 11:36

Nah - it was just one of these Wink

And the ad that came up in this thread for me was inspired, having the tag line
