I put this in AIBU for traffic. I am furious and I know what I’m feeling is reasonable. Trump has convinced/bullied whatever Romania into releasing the bastards and has allowed them to fly to America. They are on their way to Florida. No doubt to be wined and dined at bloody Maralago. They will now have a luxury life and continue to be able to abuse and exploit women and girls and also corrupt the minds of boys and young men. 😡

Surely not!
Elon Musk is well known for his dislike of Muslim grooming gangs (I heard Tate converted) and championing their victims.

Tate is about as Muslim as bacon and Easter.

And even if he had converted…that would have nothing to do with grooming gangs. And Tate was openly pro the rioters.

Weird comment.

Don't hold out much hope for justice in Today's USA. Detain, arrest, charge, trial, guilty. Hey Elon, JD and Bigly, it's not fair, we were only free-speeching and practising what A Man should be. O yes, that's right, you were. Pardon for the Tate boys immediately and an invitation to my tropical paradise by the sea. Forgive the rant, MN, I'd happily throw away the key.

I don’t think that the president can pardon someone convicted of a crime at the state level? I may be wrong.

Although of course the entire system of ‘presidential pardons’ is ludicrous and makes a complete mockery of justice.

Florida has opened up a new criminal investigation - great news.

That's 3 countries after him now.

We start after Easter and I'm so looking forward to it. I think it will be so good for him. do you have any tips for when they first start?

They'll be well looked after, just enjoy!

TooBigForMyBoots · 28/02/2025 18:23

Not just Musk. The Tate rapists have other friends including members of the Trump family.

Does anyone else think Musk is behind this?

Clearly. He's very Tate-sympathetic and Andrew Tate was one of the first people Musk selected to be paid to post.

Musk and his fans are anti-Muslim, not anti-grooming.

Just lots of open conversation rather than lecturing. My son is almost 12. He ONCE referred to Tate as a "total G" a couple of years ago because that's what he'd heard his friends say. I didn't go mad, but we had a calm and thorough conversation about the things he's said and done, the impact that has on people and can have on people close to him, then I asked him his thoughts. We continue to talk about all sorts of topics and his dad does too so he gets a male perspective. He's now disgusted by Tate, but not because I told him to be, but because his eyes were opened to all sides.

It's also important to make sure you show them good role models, because it's good to have them and there's plenty out there, although it's also important to know that no-one is perfect and you can't blindly idolise anyone, you can be inspired when they do good things.
And that role models don't have to be famous people, they can be people that are actually in your lives and show you for you in real life.

He's starting air cadets soon which I hope will also help

They could not have been denied entry given they are US citizens.

I think they're complaining that the US government put pressure on the Romanian government to let them travel. And they don't want them in Florida.

Mielikki · 28/02/2025 13:04

Echobelly · 28/02/2025 10:28

Astonishingly though even people like Ben Shapiro and Ron deSantis are complaining about them being allowed into the States. When even guys like that have standards the Tates fall below, that's something!

Genuine question, how do you do this? Because it's starting to look like the more effort that goes into doing this, the more radicalised in favour of Tate young men become.

Florida has said they are not welcome unfortunately I think they were born in the states

I really don't feel whatever anyone thinks of Trump he would spend any time on those two.

I think he'd spend time on anyone who has money and influence over others

Ablondiebutagoody · 27/02/2025 13:51

They seem like a pair of tw@ts but pretty insignificant really so not worth getting worked up about.

Hardly insignificant to the girls/women they sex trafficked and raped. Your moral compass seems to have gone missing.

thepariscrimefiles · 28/02/2025 09:18

No surprise that a convicted sex offender supports and shields other sex offenders from the consequences of their actions. They are all despicable people.

LifeExperience · 27/02/2025 18:00

The governor of my beloved home state of Florida said a few hours ago that they are not welcome in Florida, and that the state will be looking to see if any crimes were committed in Florida so they can be tried under state law. The penalty for sex trafficking is 30 years and the penalty for rape of a minor (aggravated sexual battery) is life without the possibility of parole.

Let's hope they effed up in Florida, because my state will get them if they did.

👏

I am wondering how the GC feminists who said and still say they like trump because he “knows what a woman is” will defend this

///

As a GC feminist who knows even a stopped clock is correct twice a day, I can say that yes, trump knows what a woman is.

At the same time I will also say he's a dangerous, law bending and revolting man who shouldn't be anywhere near the presidency.

Why is there such an insistence amongst some posters that because you agree with some things someone one says you are then absolutely aligned with everything they say? Confused

RafaistheKingofClay · 27/02/2025 16:52

Have you spoken to any secondary teachers recently? Ask them how much of an issue it is in schools. Especially the female teachers.

Quite. At my school we have had a number of internal comms in the last 12 months advising to be vigilant to discussion amongst boys and repeating of his disgusting comments.

This is not a moral fucking panic.

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 28/02/2025 08:41

So if you had sons, you really think that they would be persuaded to get into the sex trafficking business because of Andrew Tate?

//

Thin end of the wedge ... obviously no teen boy watches a bloke on YouTube and wakes up the following morning and cheerily starts researching his way into being a People Trafficker Extraordinaire.

It starts with a a trickle effect of hearing their vile views towards women, how they are here for their amusement and bodily use. They legitimise misogyny and encourage their young followers to be quite open in echoing their views.

Then these views and behaviour are endorsed by the leader of the free fucking world and his nazi saluting puppet master.

Another nail in the coffin for safety and equality for our girls

LaceApplique · 27/02/2025 20:16

FFS what? Am I making too much sense.

You are entitled to feel pissed off about them flying to Florida, that doesn't mean they should be prevented from doing so as they haven't been found guilty... yet.

So you don’t believe in remand or bail conditions for serious crimes. Gotcha.

Serpentstooth · 28/02/2025 07:04

Sadly, @LemonDog, you are more than likely correct. It's beyond depressing.
