If I saw her on the street I would be horrified that she felt the need to do that to herself, and (as a retired health professional) horrified someone did it to her.

As I said earlier, anyone who is a shrinking violet certainly wouldn't do this to themselves. She is on SM and has appeared in countless news articles. I'm pretty sure she'd be enjoying this thread if she was on here.

For all your "I'm a dark, demonic, tattooed underground type of person" persona you are giving off on here you seem a little sensitive to the criticism/comments that this person - whom you do not know from Adam - is getting on an anonymous forum? I'd say if you go through life looking like this you are inviting attention, and a lot of that is going to be negative what with the nose having been chopped off and suchlike. Call me crazy!

I suggest you watch interviews with the actual people who have this done to themselves. It is their choice, and you are infantilising them by saying it is not.
There is a body modification scene, and this lady is part of it. Who are you to say she is being abused? Can a grown woman not make choices for herself, even ones you don't agree with?

Life is is much more than marriage with 2 kids, a dog, and a house with a picket fence. It is so much more nuanced that that. People are scared and reject what they see is different to the norm. And that is plain to see on this thread.

This lady is hurting no one. It has zero impact on you.
She is into body modification, which has its whole scene. I bet she is loved and supported by many, and does not need your approval.
