Man.. I'm just imagining waking up in the night, popping the bedside light on and seeing that next to me!!
I also think her grandkids probably wouldn't want her to take them to the park.

mommyfinger · 24/02/2025 21:18

@pinkyredrose To open a discussion, people are allowed to be shocked and talk about things you know.

Isn't it bloody obvious ? MH issues!

She had it done by a body modification specialist. She's allowed to do what she wants with her own body.

Can't believe you started a thread just to slate a woman's appearance.

It's not really about appearance though. It's chopping off bits of your body. That's what's worrying.

Lyn397 · 24/02/2025 21:18

It should be illegal to cut off healthy bits of people's bodies. Why would anyone do that to their nose?

🙄 There's always one.

People are entitled to post about what they want to post about. If you don't like it, you don't need to open the thread.

Fuck me! 😱 What is she even meant to be? What is she meant to look like?

That NOSE! Whaaaaaaa? I would be afraid of things flying into it!

And yeah, the people who did this to her need striking off!

Is there a particular type of surgeon who does body modifications?

StepAwayFromGoogling · 24/02/2025 21:14

I think people are missing the point. Doctors, including surgeons, take an oath to 'do no harm'. How can cutting off someone's nose do no harm?! And where does it stop? What if I want both arms removed? Honestly, it's mutilation and it shouldn't be allowed.

MistressoftheDarkSide · 24/02/2025 21:12

I also used to sport an undercut, and wanted a pair of stylised leaping black panthers over my ears.

menopausalfart · 24/02/2025 21:12

Everyone has their own idea of beauty. This is extreme but, I've known people who have had strange and weird things done to their bodies with absolutely no regret. It's a lifestyle, a very niche lifestyle.

Thisshirtisonfire · 24/02/2025 21:11

And I work in mental health services.. I have come across someone who tattooed on their face due to mental illness. It was very sad. They hated their own face and tattooed drawings all over it so they didn't have to look at it. (They told me this)
I do not think that's what has happened here. This all looks very deliberate and although not to my personal taste, you can see it's aesthetic. It's a well designed and executed look that looks planned out. She obviously put thought into it.
She obviously thinks it looks cool.
Not everyone has the same taste. She probably thinks creepy confrontational stuff looks cool and interesting. And that's up to her. It's not a mental illness to think this aesthetic is cool. It's just not to the majority taste. Being alternative is not a form of mental illness!!

MistressoftheDarkSide · 24/02/2025 21:10

In an ideal world, if money was no object, I would have my entire body tattooed (and I'm 56). I would have skeletal bat wings on my back, a burning heart like my late DPs on my chest with his portrait in it, an underbust corset and lacey sleeves and stockings, all blackwork. I can dream.

PerfectSense · 24/02/2025 21:09

Not sure how her sunglasses are staying on

BloodandGlitter · 24/02/2025 21:08

She doesn't owe you or anyone else her "beauty". I think it's misogynistic in fact to sit here going on about she used to be "pretty". Just because she's no longer performing to the male or female gaze.

TooBigForMyBoots · 24/02/2025 21:08

Probably trauma.Sad

SH23B · 24/02/2025 21:07

Can you edit to say it's a link to the sun? It says apple news and I've just clicked on to it which i would not have done if I knew it was the sun.

PenneyFouryourthoughts · 24/02/2025 21:07

I agree with @MistressoftheDarkSide .

Would I do this to myself? No. Would I be disappointed in my child doing this to herself? A little. But just because she's chosen this path doesn't mean she has a mental illness. I am very much in favour of body autonomy. It's her body, she can do what she likes with it.

Thisshirtisonfire · 24/02/2025 21:07

Maybe she was sick of being "pretty"
Who cares. It's her money and her body. If it makes her happy fair play to her.
It takes all sorts!!

Scissor · 24/02/2025 21:05

Is that actually 3 stages of photos? I'm confused by the one where her cleavage and lips look black?

ScholesPanda · 24/02/2025 21:05

She clearly thinks it looks good and enjoys the attention.

AndThereSheGoes · 24/02/2025 21:05

Eyeball tattoos! I'm more worried by the people that came up with that concept then someone actually having them

MoonWoman69 · 24/02/2025 21:05

I'm sorry to say it, even if it is her body, her choice, it's absolutely hideous. It's to be hoped she's still going to love it in another 30 years.
And morals aside, anyone offered the money will do the work. Whether that's right or wrong, like everything, it all boils down to money.

MistressoftheDarkSide · 24/02/2025 21:03

Maybe she got fed up of the assumptions made about her when she was a "pretty blonde". Maybe this is her way of sticking two fingers up to misogyny.

hoarahloux · 24/02/2025 21:01

Her body, her choice. It's affecting no one but herself, it's only cosmetic, and she can live her life how she chooses. It clearly works for her. I don't care what she looked like previously tbh. If she'd been ugly beforehand, would her body modifications be less offensive?
