Trans men are women according to Gender Critical Movement

Under Trump's transgender policy, which echoes the ideology of the Gender Critical Movement, trans women are men and trans men are women. This view denies and rejects as worthless and baseless the lived experience of millions of men and women in the US who identify as trans. As a result of having their lived experience of themself ignored and denied by law, millions of trans men as well as trans women are now experiencing deep psychological trauma and living in abject fear and terror in the US. Many are trying to leave the country because they are so terrified.

The almost total silence of the Gender Critical Movement and it's supporters about the effect that it's ideology has had on those hundreds of thousand of women who self identify as men is deafening. It's whole argument about banning trans women from female public toilets and other ' women only spaces' is based on the argument that denying trans women the right to access these spaces is needed to protect the safety of women and girls. Given the fear, terror and trauma that hundreds of thousands of women( trans men) are now experiencing in the US, as a result of the government putting into practise Gender Critical Movement ideology, the sense of safety and well-being of hundreds of thousands of women has been devastated. This makes the infinitesimally small number of cases where women have been or ever would be assaulted by a trans woman in a women only space pale into insignificance by comparison.

In short, the Gender Critical Movement is directly responsible for harming the well being of hundreds of thousands of WOMEN according to it's own ideology. The damage done by implementing it's ideology makes a sickening mockery of it's claim that it's ideology protects the safety of women and girls.

When the number of men( trans women) in the US who are now living in fear and terror in the US is taken into account as well, the Gender Critical Movement and all those who support it are directly responsible for terrorising millions of people. It is impossible to claim that we are supporting women's rights and protecting the safety of women if we support the Gender Critical Movement.

Thank you. I’m shocked at the hate and am not going to bother you are right

BaMamma · 22/02/2025 19:05

Just a little side note here.

Please don't pander to them by using 'trans women' as if 'trans' were simply a descriptor like tall, short, black, white, blonde, whatever; it's transwomen.

I liked it better when we knew what the trans applied to, transgender, transgressive, transexual, transvestite...

MissScarletInTheBallroom · 22/02/2025 18:58

What is the difference between a trans woman and a man, in your opinion?

Apparently, the transwoman has teh feelz of a woman.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 22/02/2025 19:01

I don't think you will influence anyone through this site, the transphobics are too loud here.

Why would I be influenced by someone who doesn't even bother to attempt to persuade me why I am wrong?

I’m all for single sex spaces. I don’t want men in women’s toilets. I just don’t regard trans women a threat. And truly regret going on this thread as I don’t believe the things I’m being accused of at all. Nightmare!

You may not regard transwomen as a threat, but many women do, and with good reason. There have been numerous cases of transwomen attacking women. If transwomen don't feel safe using the men's facilities, why is it up to women to give up their sense of security to protect them?

I agree with you and fully support the trans community. I've not read and won't read the comments here though as I suspect on MN they will be full of hate, I don't think you will influence anyone through this site, the transphobics are too loud here.

Rape survivors who advocate for our FEMALE ONLY safe single sex spaces, and for fair sport are not 'twwannsphobic'. You sound deeply misogynistic and brainwashed. Femphobic as well.

Transwomen are men. They are males. ANY male in a FEMALE ONLY space, is a threat.

Why do you think a fully intact (and medical data shows 97% of transwomen retain their penis and testicles for life) male is suddenly safer just because he dons a dress instead of a suit and tie? Have you actually stopped to truly think about this?

What is the difference between an intact male with penis and testicles who identifies as a man,
and an intact male with penis and testicles who identifies as a woman?

Do you genuinely think all transwomen are 'safe' and wouldn't use a loophole? Have you ever heard of Autogynephilia? Please look it up if not, @user1471523931 .

"Also, millions in the US?"

https://usafacts.org/articles/what-percentage-of-the-us-population-is-transgender/

It is estimated that thr population of transgender individuals in the US is about 1% of the population. This equates to about 2. 3 million people.

And you know what? That’s fucking terrifying.

That’s a LOT of people who need psychological help.

Fact of the matter is, there are only biological males and biological females - any aberration to that is simply a person cosplaying as the opposite gender.

It is absolutely not normal for people to be literally mutilating their bodies and having people pandering to them, feeding in to complete and utter delusion.

LOL - you seriously think the Orange Tyrant does anything for anyone's benefit but his own (and Putin's)?

Regardless of why he's doing it, keeping biological males out of women's spaces and sports will benefit many women though.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 22/02/2025 18:51

That's not at all small for a man.

People here have really weird ideas about body shapes and sizes

I would dispute the accuracy of it.

Yep certainly is on here. But not convinced it is a majority held view. Well I disagree and find the intolerance sad and regret getting involved.

I find your intolerance for women who need single sex spaces sad.

NotBadConsidering · 22/02/2025 18:48

I knew after I posted “this week” that that was going to be pushing it.

He is acting on the promises he made to his electorate. I doubt anyone thinks Trump would do this for any other purpose.

5' 8" is 1 inch shorter than the overall average for men in the USA, and 2 inches shorter than the average for US Caucasian males.

NotBadConsidering · 22/02/2025 18:26

Sigh! Has anyone been attacked or abused by a trans woman?

Specifically anyone here, or generally? Because if you’re asking generally, you need to add “this week” if you want the answer to be no.

Sorry, there was a case of double murder of two women reported this week by a trans identifying male. One of the suspected victims was shown on a video by the alleged murderer apparently after she’d sustained the fatal head injuries.

So it isn't important to you and therefore you don't care that it is important to other people? How charming!

I don’t know why everyone is focused on telling me I’m wrong rather than the issue at hand. Yes I don’t care about toilets. Get over it

Intolerance for males in female only safe single sex spaces and for boys and men cheating girls and women out of fair sports is a GOOD thing.

Its truly sad that you've been brainwashed to not care about womens rights.

Helleofabore · 22/02/2025 17:38

So telling a group that their opinions are nonsensical is not censuring. Telling posters their questions are stupid is 'not censuring anyone'?

And posting laughing reactions on posts that are not funny is 'not censuring anyone'?

Good to know where your boundaries on censuring sit. Thanks for letting me know.

I’m just following suit on what seems to be a running trend on this group. Tit for tat.you are being so hypocritical considering several people have insulted me on this thread.

And I find the fact that you don't respect women who say no to males who insist on eroding our boundaries appalling.

To answer your question I've had the misfortune to be raped twice , by two different men.

So please explain why I should have to accept males in single sex spaces?

Because there is evidence that trans women commit sexual offences against women at at least the same rate as any other man.

Your post is really offensive to sexual assault and rape victims.

You literally don't give a fuck about how any of this impacts us, do you?

OrangeYaGlad · 22/02/2025 18:36

BreatheAndFocus · 22/02/2025 18:34

I googled Buck’s height and it said 5’ 8. Don’t know if that’s correct and if it is, that’s small for a man, of course, but a fair bit taller than the transmen I know, one of whom is 5ft tall (literally).

That's not at all small for a man.

Sigh! Has anyone been attacked or abused by a trans woman? So much anger on this thread. If you really want women to feel safe and keep their freedoms, way of life and dignity maybe energy should be put into protesting about the actions of Trump and his administration towards women - sacking of high profile women, abortion rights, diversity etc. we don’t want that here! He is not acting to benefit women.

Yes. I have been. Does that mean I get a say in single sex spaces?

By the way, why do women have to disclose personal trauma to have their needs considered ?
