To be very weirded out by Elon Musks reproductive choices

I think he's up to twelve or thirteen children now with no sign of stopping and seems to have a very transactional approach to impregnating a series of women (presumably through IVF). It really speaks to looking at women as baby machines.
The colossal ego he has about maintaining his bloodline is so noxious.
I'm worried someone like him is so influential.
We'll be in the handmaid's tale before long.

Yeah not sure ol' Donald is going to find it quite as easy to dismiss Musk as he might think.

Bloom15 · 15/02/2025 18:03

Trump will get sick of Musk soon - he won't want to be seen as Musk's lieutenant! Whether Musk will go quietly is another matter...

Redheadedstepchild · 15/02/2025 18:00

I'm just waiting for the first cloned Musk child, Dolly the Sheep style. Place your bets now, folks.

I might just do that. I wonder what odds the bookies will give me.🤔

Why are so many posters who seem to love EM keep calling him Mr Musk?

To differentiate them from those of us who call him 'The Musky Man' and so on. He's the president afterall - 'Mr Musk/Mr President'.

JHound · 15/02/2025 17:41

Toseland · 15/02/2025 17:12

I was really pleased when he created X and freed speech. People, especially women, were being banned for years for the most ridiculous things and some of the moderators he ousted clearly had warped political agendas.
He could be the ultimate baddie, but I suspect that accolade will go to some of the secretive billionaires we don't hear so much about; the Pritzkers, Strykers and Gills.

He did not create X.

Well he is weird, so his life is weird.

His children unfortunately will probably be just like him

There's a reel of his child, X, basically telling Trump he's not the president. I found it very amusing because Trump is just looking at this kid. I wonder how much he picks up listening to his father.

@TY78910 Where? I'm no fan of his but where would he say that?

It was a long time ago that I’ve seen this so don’t have the exact link but this is from a quick google:

Instead of trying to be clever, try reading the thread. I have offered no opinion of Mr Musk.

Mr. Musk?😁An opinion doesn't need to be explicit to come through loud and clear. I've read the thread, thanks. Ironic that for someone who was trying to be clever asking if someone's life was dull to discuss this issue, you have so much to say on it, let alone accuse others of trying to be clever.

Butchyrestingface · 15/02/2025 17:29

LauraNorda · 15/02/2025 15:47

Not bothered at all. Gripe as much as you like. For all the good it will do you. My life? Just getting on with it as normal.

You're sitting on here impotently whining about other people expressing an opinion on Mr Musk. If that's your 'normal', have at it.

TooBigForMyBoots · 15/02/2025 17:23

CraneBeak · 15/02/2025 16:25

I don't find the fact that one of the richest men in the world, who also is now empowered to make government decisions in the US, treats women as objects to produce babies with "dull".

In Claire's case he also has arrangements to stop her from accessing her own children.

He needs women's bodies to keep him supplied with Emotional Support Humans like poor Lil Twitter.

HotTake · 15/02/2025 17:23

He's the approved and acceptable 'baby daddy', i guess.

Scrubberdubber · 15/02/2025 17:21

TY78910 · 15/02/2025 16:44

Sorry… but are you saying that if we chose to have kids without disabilities the world would be a better place? Because that’s really f*cked up.

It’s not entirely about his choice of woman to procreate with, it’s more about the public announcement of the why and the intention to breed ‘superior’ humans.

Reading comprehension not your strong point?

I was responding to another poster who was bitching about musk choosing to have children with good looking intelligent women and how that makes him a nazi. I've seen others say on other threads it's eugenics to do that. Complete bullshit are these posters going to back up their theory by going out and procreating with the ugliest nastiest man possible. Because having any standards over who you choose to have a kid with is literally Hitler behaviour remember.

Like I said I'm not a fan of musk and wasn't going to bother commenting but at least when he goes on rants about birth rates hes got his own 12 kids as evidence he means what he says.

Allswellthatendswelll · 15/02/2025 17:14

I'm weirded out by anyone who has loads of children for ideological reasons. It always end up a bit eugenicy and our genes and/or race is better. It never actually serves the interest of the children.

Elon Musk is sadly what happens when you repeatedly tell someone mediocre and messed up they are a genius.

He’s an even more dangerous individual than Trump. Something deeply disturbing about him and the fact that he’s been given so much power in the US

He's certainly dangerous having pioneered all the green climate change EV cars crap being imposed on us. You are right that anyone pushing that agenda wants their head looking at.

Almost as much as he's incredibly thrilled by what you think of him no doubt.

heroinechic · 15/02/2025 17:05

I think he's honestly the most dangerous individual alive. He is one of the richest people in the world (if not the richest, it's disputed), he has a direct involvement in the US government and control over one of the largest social media apps in the world, not to mention the star link satellites, Tesla's, space X etc.

His influence is huge and varied amongst many different sectors.

TooBigForMyBoots · 15/02/2025 17:03

soupyspoon · 15/02/2025 16:25

He isnt talking out about child rape and abuse gangs in the UK. He is speaking out about one demographic of child abuser.

Theres plenty others, of different ethnicities. But he isnt speaking out about those as well.

Yep. He doesn't give a shit about the victims grooming and rape for profit gangs in my region. They're all white. Nor does he give a shit about the sexual violence re-education of Uighur women at the hands of his Chinese mates

Anyone who believes Musk cares about women and children is either ignorant of him or very naive.

Clocloxx · 15/02/2025 15:55

It was on America Newsweek published yesterday, Republicans proposed to ban morning after pill...

That was in North Dakota, not the whole US, and the measure has merely been proposed and is unlikely to get out of committee.

No wonder so many MNers think we Americans are crazy. People only read the headlines.

JHound · 15/02/2025 17:01

It’s gross but it shows that having kids for multiple women somehow us not negative if you are a rich white man.

But as gross and weird as he is so are the women having kids with the bloated racist (and I believe some he did have via IVF).

He is obsessed with [white] birth rates so I guess this is him doing his part.

sparrowhae · 15/02/2025 16:58

If you don't like him you don't like him but don't make up weird creepy stuff.

EasternEcho · 15/02/2025 16:57

LauraNorda · 15/02/2025 15:27

I'm sure Mr Musk feels sick to the pit of his stomach that you think that.

Ironic, considering he's no oil painting himself

No he isnt attractive at all (to me)
