so I'm in no way, shape or form "woo" buuutttt just been sitting on side of my bed texting on my phone and my soundbar for TV (which I've had for 4 years with no issues) just decided to launch itself onto the floor, has hit my foot and cut it, picked it back up thinking how weird 🤷🤷 went back to my phone and a bottle of water, tube of face cream and a lip balm on top of my chest of drawers then launched themselves across the room, pretty freaked out by this point but still being rational in my head, picked phone back up carried on messaging back a friend, looked up to think what I was trying to type and felt a big tap /slap and literally saw my phone fly in the air and land other side of room, trying hard to think rationally but feeling pretty spooked right now
😭there's a rational reason for all this, yes???

Just ask them to leave out loud and they will hopefully listen

OR

Do an Ouija Board and ask what it wants

Ah. When a student I used to live in Penmachno for a time. Loads of redundant mining operations under and around the village often linked to subsidence and rumbles. Just a thought!

far away from me, but sure it's lovely☺️

I get where you’re coming from.

When I was a child I woke to see an old lady in the corner of my bedroom. She looked like my mum in a wig. It was terrifying. I told my mum and but she didn’t believe me, although she did look a bit shifty.

Soon after, my parents told me about things flying around the house. Hairbrushes, toys, newspapers, my dad’s toupee, that sort of thing. My parents got very frightened and got in a local witch. She waved around some burning sage.

Unfortunately it set fire to the curtains and the house burnt down. While we were in a hotel, the presence came again. It emptied the mini-bar and made loads of calls to room service.

There was a happy ending though. We got a new council house that was bigger than the last one!

@Tacsi It doesn't need to be a Catholic priest, any priest of any faith can bless a house!

I'm atheist so anyone of the "cloth" or any faith is a no go😕😕

I didn't post soley for a laugh... it actually happened, the other poster just took one line out of context where I said I'd posted 1,for a laugh(cos I know what MN is like with this stuff) and 2,for advice

Well you've been given the advice to check your local FB group and your local news, to see if there's been any kind of event that's caused movement/vibration.

But rather than take it, you just gave a weird reply about being 'wacko'?

Is 'wacko' the same as attention seeking?

PaperAeroplane · 09/02/2025 22:52

Set a camera up and try and catch it on video.

Has anything else happened since you first posted? Take your dog upstairs and keep it in the room with you. If the dog acts strange, barks at nothing, that will let you know if anything is there

shed be no help, she barks if we breathe and just acts strange most days anyway ☺️love her to bits tho

We had a sink hole at the houses at the bottom of my street. Caused a lot of damage inside and out of the houses 😔 8 flats had to be demolished. Please keep an eye, it literally started with a crack at the front door leading to upstairs flat. The stairs detached from the building whilst the family were in it.

Well we do have slag heaps of slate, granite, limestone. Coal more towards Wrexham I think. Blasting perhaps. We do get rumbles in north west Wales.

So, you were slapped, your mobile flew across the room l, plus the other odd happenings & you're still there. I'd be out of there like a shot. Aren't you terrified?

Christ, just to set some things straight for the "taking out of context" posters and the posters who don't "read" properly and the "posters" who just want to be dicks and stir up absolute shite on a totally innocent post but literally can't help themselves in thinking they need to make up absolute shite that isn't even there!!!
this Is a genuine post, happened, believe it, don't believe, who cares🤷🤷 I don't quite believe it, must be a rational explanation, was asking for one when posting, yes I said at some point was also posting for a laugh, but not cos it didn't happen but cos I know from years of being on here how much MN community laugh at this stuff, I have, i do and still will, christ I'm laughing at me and my incident, doesn't mean it didn't happen and even though I'm laughing doest mean I don't want to find an actual explanation for it!!! lighten up ffs, life is too short, thanks to all the genuine and absolutely non arsehole amazing pmsl replies I've had so far👌

We're British, we cope with stuff like this with humour / taking the piss.

Anyone who doesn't understand that needs to bog off IMO.

Ignore the deliberately obtuse, they love to dis-rail a thread and are incredibly boring.

Not woo either but had the weirdest thing happen to me also this week. Moved into a new house, invited my sister and niece over (5) to see it. Niece goes into dining room/makeshift playroom and starts screaming literally about the angry old lady in there. We calm her down, nothing more said.

then three days later. Friend comes with her little boy who’s 3 and he starts saying and crying while playing in there pointing at nothing about the lady and she has a sad face! 😬😬😬 it’s literally an empty dining room with some toys I’d set up for them! They’ve never met each other my niece and friends son! So now I’m scared to go in there 😂

Eek!! This is so scary.
