Yes the wretched Italian chef - not giving his name credence. https://www.itv.com/watch/news/the-latest-headlines-multiple-claims-of-inappropriate-behaviour-against-gino-dacampo/5wr9dh3

Hiding in plain sight.

There are others, I switch over on another popular "star" because of what he did to me and others when we were young.

AIBU to find this exhausting

Oh ffs, what is wrong with people. I'm sick of people assuming that it must be autism. GDC does not present as autistic at all.

The PP was referring to another poster who mentioned that Kanye West is now claiming to be autistic. Not officially diagnosed, obvs. Absolute fucking nonsense - as if we didn’t have enough shitty things said about autistic people, we’ve now got the perverted raging narcissism of KW laid at our doorstep too. Marvellous.

AFAIK, no one has claimed Gino is neurodivergent. So far, anyway.

The whole show, This Morning comes across as toxic to me.
Phil, Holly, Gino...toxic IMO.
Avoid, awful false creepy tv.

Tbf the new line up is a lot better with Cat Deeley and Ben Shepherd / Dermot and Alison. My experience or things I’ve heard from colleagues / others in the industry have only been positive about all of them

Why do people always say this! The culture that supports and facilitates this behaviour doesn't want to hear the victim. The problem is a power play, and most of these women probably did complain, but if nothing changed, then what? We've heard it with Gregg Wallace, Russell Brand, and Scoffe!

The TV culture needs to change, not more victim blaming. Time knock the talent off their pedestals.

Exactly. And how are any of us to know that they had said something years ago and they weren't listened to?

I remember hearing about a young girl who complained about Jimmy Savile She lived in a childrens home. She was told not to talk such filth and then locked in a cupboard

Sounds similar to a certain Phillip Schofield, who did a scathing interview with one of the victims on This Morning when the allegations first came out and firmly in the JS is innocent corner. He very soon changed his mind but strangely all trace of it has been scrubbed from the internet, except for a thread from here.

Exactly! Groomers are very good at choosing victims and inserting themselves where they will find them sadly.

If they felt sexually harassed or threatened why did they not speak up when it happened?

What?! Gino D'Acampo - that stand up guy?

The one who robbed Paul Young's house while Paul's wife was dying, pissed on the rug and left cigarette butts all over.

No way he's a wrong un. Never would have guessed it.

He burgled Paul Young's house years before Stacey Young was ill, but agree he's a little turd. He's finished now.

Exactly. There was a presenter in Australia who turned out to be a sleazy arsehole and he tried to blame it on [un-diagnosed' autism as well and claimed it was 'these genetic failings' that led him to be a sexually harassing fucker It's an absolute disgrace. Such people are a disgrace and everyone should turn their backs on them and shame them for this behaviour and their self pitying so-called defence.

Didn't someone who was in prison say he had a broad Essex accent?

He's disgusting. #teamPaulYoung

Dr Ranj and the coupon queen have confirmed it.

AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta · 10/02/2025 09:14

And @Rosalina2025 historic allegations were made against Gregg Wallace and Jermaine Jenus, the CPS are considering charges against Russell Brand over them, Rolf Harris went to prison because of them and I don't even know where to start with Jimmy Saville. Is it baffling to you why all those possibly hundreds of women didn't speak up against these powerful men at the time too?

AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta · 10/02/2025 09:06

@ChristmasPudd1990 yes it's all very suss. I read yesterday that as well as the unaired series of FF ITV have removed every show featuring him from their schedule. That is not a move they or anybody would make just for a bit of off colour banter.

Have you seen people's reactions on FB and here? And you wonder why people don't speak out? 🤦‍♀️🙄

AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta · 09/02/2025 23:41

C&P'd from my post yesterday:

Why some lowly paid, easily replaceable behind the scenes members of staff (not friends of GD) did not speak out at the time about inappropriate behaviour by one of ITVs favourite employees? No, beats me!

Rosalina2025 · 09/02/2025 22:58

AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta · 09/02/2025 22:55

And why do some posts keep mentioning banter with their friends? Gino was not friends with these women, he was employed alongside them and they had every right to be able to go into work each day without being sexually harassed or threatened. Regardless of how much he or his fangirls want to insist that it was just bantz.

AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta · 09/02/2025 22:43

"I have never found Gino offensive."

That's nice for you. But 40 seperate women did, as well as aggressive, intimidating and threatening so 🤷.

Londog · 09/02/2025 22:28

G D’Ac has made me feel sick for years - thank the Lord he’s been rumbled - choices equal consequences for these ‘ celebrity’ scrotes 😡

Rosalina2025 · 09/02/2025 22:25

I'm a woman with a mixture of men and women friends. We have banter when we go out.

I have never found Gino offensive.

Rosalina2025 · 09/02/2025 22:07

There are a lot of people supporting him that say it's banter.

Has he abused anyone physically?
