It's like a parallel universe - how did America come to this? So now he plans to ethnically cleanse Gaza we are told - to create the 'Riviera of the Middle East.' A golf course and hotels probably. The £2 million people can just go wherever. Wtf! AIBU to think America is imploding in on itself?

Hypocrisy

Do you mean the hypocrisy of a group of people having been persecuted in Yemen, moving to a place 2,000 ish miles away and then displace those living there? Then bombing and refusing them aid? That kind of hyporcisy?

Comedycook · 05/02/2025 23:42

ARealitycheck · 05/02/2025 23:38

And what point was that?

Hypocrisy

ARealitycheck · 05/02/2025 23:38

Comedycook · 05/02/2025 23:36

Spectacularly missing the point...

ARealitycheck · 05/02/2025 23:36

Oh totally, their treatment in Yemen I'm sure was appaling. Doesn't mean they have the right to move en masse to another Country and treat the indigenous people of there in the same way they had been treated in Yemen.

The kingdom of Israel, could you point out on a map where that was located in 1945?

Oh so is 1945 when history started? You seem to change your mind about exactly what year history started, it's quite confusing!

But out of interest, where was the state of Palestine in 1945?

Stop calling for the eradication of the state of Israel. You don't have to get rid of Israel for there to one day finally be a Palestinian state.

ARealitycheck · 05/02/2025 23:36

Comedycook · 05/02/2025 23:32

In that case, you must feel quite incensed at the history and persecution of Jewish people in Yemen also?

Israel had always been open about it's end game, no Palestinians at all in Israel. Certainly that's been the stated aim of the right wing government forever, it's not like they have hidden the fact and the state sanctioned murder of West Bank citizens is happening every day now.

I don't really agree with that.

However, practically, it might come to the same thing. It's not going to be a livable place, and I don't think they will ever get along.

Maybe find the poster a Wikipedia link? Because apparently Wikipedia is a reliable source.

No.

Have you really never heard of the land of Israel? The kingdom of Israel?

It's perfectly possible to want a Palestinian state without demanding the eradication of the state of Israel, you know.

Have you noticed 17% here voted 'You're being unreasonable' so I guess that means 17% think he's OK. Actully I know people here think he's great.

They maybe haven't read project 2025 which means their contraceptives might be considered murder and they would be at the beck and call of their husbands....maybe it was their men that voted! 😁

Not at all. I look at numerous sources. News websites, Al Jazeera, Wikipedia. The state of Israel was recognised in 1948. Since then it has pushed most non Jews out of fertile farmland, out of cities, out of industrial areas. It has condensed Palestinians into a small area and has bombed the crap out of it as well as denying water, food and aid.

I’m waiting for him to suggest that the population of England should be relocated to the Australian outback so that he can turn It into a giant golf course.

That’s ok then. We citizens of the rest of the UK can stay put.

Would you care to enlighten us on land and population increases of Israel and Israelis and compare it to land and population decreases in Palestine and Palestinians, over the past say 75 years?

Yes.

Modern state of Israel, sure. Not Israel though. Not Jewish presence in the land.

I really don't understand the posters on here who are opposed to ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians but are happy for ethnic cleansing of others. Personally, I'm against all ethnic cleansing. Why aren't you?

Disagree on the Gaza thing he’s proposing, or the fact he’s trying to steal Greenland - I agree however on him stopping trans athletes competing against women in the olympics.
