I couldn’t see another thread on this but if there is, let me know. AIBU to be absolutely outraged about the report on the liberation of Auschwitz of GMB without one mention of the fact they were Jewish people who were killed? It doesn't make sense.

The word Jewish should be in front of the word "people".

So either the word Jewish was missed out, replaced or the presenter didn't say the word.

A serious error but the script only “makes sense” if you add in the word Jewish at the beginning. Otherwise she’s just saying six million people were murdered plus another million people for different reasons. Hopefully they will clarify.

Exactly, it seems more like an error - she said people instead of Jews. Otherwise, what she's saying wouldn't make sense.

I agree - it actually doesn't make sense without the word 'Jewish' and does look like it has been skipped. Pretty awful slip up to make though.

Genuine error my foot. The content fed into the autocue is vetted like mad and professionals don’t just skip a word.

There is a real agenda in media circles to erase the word ‘Jew’ and it’s disturbing
