Has anyone heard this song
I heard it other other day and was so so shocked by the lyrics I nearly had a heart attack 😂
Why do mainstream artists bring out utter filth like this. I really don’t like my kids (teenage) hearing this garbage….ive listened to some garbage in my time but it’s another level and is shocking to me coming from such a popular artist.
I know everyone will be like well they will hear it on YouTube/tiktok…..but I’d really like it not to be coming up on Spotify which they listen to alot 🫣

You do know that not all music that OP's children might hear comes from the OP's Spotify account? People play music out loud all over the place, on the bus, other kids playing it at school, etc.

So you might be oh so clever in restricting YOUR Spotify account, and feel so smug and superior because YOU have taken responsibility for what your child is consuming. But what about places you cannot control? On the bus, at school, walking down the street etc? I don't know how old your children are but can you honestly say that you'd be happy for children to listen to those lyrics as long as it's not in your house?

Then it’s up to her to put those blockers in place or teach them the song is inappropriate. It isn’t other people responsibility to shelter your children.

You really think music artists should be restricted on what they can create just incase your darling child hears it on a bus? It’s ridiculous to think that’s how life works.

Greyrockin · 27/01/2025 20:55

this thread has made me think of Chuck Berry’s “My ding-a-ling” song that me and my sister used to innocently sing along to in the 70’s (we knew it was rude, but weren’t quite sure why). Such innocent times…

I don’t think it’s about enjoyment, it’s a brag about how wet her vagina is.

This. ^ Anyone who thinks this is somehow 'empowering' for women, is utterly deluded. This is misogynistic drivel. I'm embarrassed for anyone who claims they like it!

IMustDoMoreExercise · 27/01/2025 20:50

OMG.

I was just telling my husband about it and was too embarrassed to read out the lyrics!

Dweetfidilove · 27/01/2025 20:49

BatchCookBabe · 27/01/2025 20:25

Seems somewhat counter-productive. I don't know a single soul who would pay for this drivel. Why not release something really good? Confused

It will be the young folks maybe . I had to stop listening 🤷🏾‍♀️

There is a 'clean' edit of it on Spotify. Interestingly the word Clit is left in..

well, it's just an abbreviation for the accurate scientific name of a specific body part. it's not a swearword.

ThreeCheersFor5Years · 27/01/2025 20:33

Cheers for that. No and yes. You clearly don’t take any responsibilities for what your children are consuming - you didn’t even know how to block a song on Spotify. Well done hun xx

I will not listen to it on purpose but it sounds to me like he wants to be cancelled in the same way that Robin Thicke was (and to a lesser degree Pharrell Williams) with their awful song from a few years back.

Their "awful song" implied sexual abuse
This is a song about female sexual enjoyment
They are very different

BatchCookBabe · 27/01/2025 20:36

Yeah I wondered this too. ^ I think there are several on here. 😬

bit rude 😂

greengreyblue · 27/01/2025 20:43

To be fair it’s the female ‘artist’ that should be condemned. Is that all you’ve got love? Great female role model. 🙄

TriesNotToBeCynical · 27/01/2025 20:37

Alltheyearround · 27/01/2025 19:19

See we can't even make it up.

I do like the tune 'round and round the garden' and I may now be humming this and hearing those nonsensical lyrics in my head for the next week or so.

😂

I can only interpret that verse as implying that there are other female persons in the room, playing an auxiliary role.

@FallOfTheHouseOfUtterlyButterly
i didn’t post the song because I didn’t want to traumatise anyone that didn’t know what song I was talking about 🙏

You can post the title and people can look it up
It's just annoyingly cryptic otherwise

ThreeCheersFor5Years · 27/01/2025 20:35

If it hits too close to home then idk what to tell you babes.

Roxieandthegang · 27/01/2025 20:34

Why are you so concerned about girls listening to it? Parents shouldn’t be letting them. And once they’re old enough, ie adults, and if they want to sleep about that’s their choice not yours!!!

Could you have not said that in your last reply where you actually tagged me so I had half a chance of seeing? How am I being a dick? I’m rightly calling out lazy parenting.

EleanorRavenclaw · 27/01/2025 20:10

Wow it’s awful. Sounds like it was written by Jay from the Inbetweeners.

It might actually be worse than anything Jay said but I'd have to watch the Inbetweeners boxset again to check lol.

Grim. Reminds me of listening to Tim Westwood in the 90s/2000s, playing explicit rap and being very creepy/pervy on the radio (we all know what became of him). It’s also got P Diddy ‘Nasty Girl’ vibes.

RealHousewivesOfTaunton · 27/01/2025 20:29

There was a song on R1 a few months ago which had so many words blanked out that half of it was silent. Completely pointless.

How is this the man who wrote the same lyrics as “When I see your face there’s not a thing that I would change cos you’re amazing just the way you are”

What is he doing?

Mid life crisis?
