Has anyone heard this song
I heard it other other day and was so so shocked by the lyrics I nearly had a heart attack 😂
Why do mainstream artists bring out utter filth like this. I really don’t like my kids (teenage) hearing this garbage….ive listened to some garbage in my time but it’s another level and is shocking to me coming from such a popular artist.
I know everyone will be like well they will hear it on YouTube/tiktok…..but I’d really like it not to be coming up on Spotify which they listen to alot 🫣

I'm 52, led quite the opposite of a sheltered life and I don't want to hear that stuff

Then don't listen to it.

This song will not get played in any uncensored form on radio and as people have pointed out, it's blockable on Spotify. The OP can protect her child from it in exactly the same way as she can protect her child from watching a horror film or playing a violent computer game.

Do I think the song should be played on radio or in public places where there might be children present? No, of course not. Do I think adults have the right to use whatever language they choose in their own songs/films/books? Yes. And other adults have the right to listen to it. The fact that you're offended by it, or that it isn't appropriate listening for a child, does not mean it shouldn't be allowed to exist.

I've never even heard this song and I've no wish to. But as an adult, I definitely listen to, read and watch all sorts of stuff that wouldn't be appropriate for a child and I don't wish to have my consumption (or creation - I write fiction) of music/books/film limited to the things that you personally find palatable or morally acceptable.

That is fair enough if someone was suggesting that it should be banned. People have the freedom to listen to it, but people have the right to say publicly, that they think it is vulgar, cheap and a poor piece of work that they would like to unhear if they could, and strongly recommend that others give it the swerve.

An analogy would be a piece of literature on a political ideology. A free society would allow the publishing of the book, but that doesn't mean that it is censorious to others by giving the book an awful review, assessing it as poorly researched, poorly written with ill thought out ideas and dangerous ideology. If enough people agree, the song tanks. Bruno at whatever her name is lose money for the record company and they go in a different musical direction.

To continue this analogy, OP gave this song 0 stars out of 5, justifying that by saying that it is vulgar and just a poor song that she doesn't want to hear. She questions the credibility of the author and who would actually want to listen to the song. But nowhere does she say she wants other people to be banned from listening to it.

It is EVERYONE'S responsibility to protect children from porn. Don't YOU think so? If you don't think that "Milk mustache on your face when I cum", "slob on my clit", "Titties on your forehead, titties on your chin", "pussy drip like gold", "Squirt in your mouth, squirt on your bed", "Coochie water autograph" is porn language, then there is something seriously wrong with your mentality. I'm 52, led quite the opposite of a sheltered life and I don't want to hear that stuff. I certainly don't want any child (or my granny!) to have to listen to such utter, degrading language.

Music artists who are being paid by and who usually aim music at kids / teens, (young adults even) definitely have a duty of responsibility to those same kids to make sure they are not exposed to such degrading language for a woman's body.

I can think of plenty of Eminem songs that are that too.

Eminem has also recorded a number of violently misogynistic songs, especially in the early years of his career, including one where he gleefully and graphically fantasises about murdering his ex-wife in front of their infant daughter, to me that is infinitely more worrying for kids to hear than explicit lyrics about consentual sex acts, maybe that's just me. Many old artists that people seem to idolise like The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Tom Jones have all recorded songs which seem to glorify domestic violence and violence against women generally and many people don't seem to have a problem with that whereas, for me, that sort of content is extremely troubling and upsetting.

I feel dude needs to study some Prince in order to understand how to write a proper sexy song.

You mean like singing about masturbating to a magazine in a hotel lobby? The stuff of so many beautiful, tender Mills & Boons plots Grin

That’s really odd. Have you reported it to MNHQ?

I've reported it because it is concerning if true.

Nowt different to late 80's / early 90's rap - I'm definitely not clutching my pearls. Back in t'old days - when it was just fields around here, people were twerking away (or attempting) to 'Baby got Back', 'I'm so Horny' etc.

But there’s quite the difference to songs talking about being horny and liking big butts to this one which explicitly suggests slobbing on her clit, leaving cum on his face, and squirting on his bed.

I’m no prude and I’m not offended but I do wonder whether there’s any line at all? Or are we just saying that any kind of obscene lyrics are fine, no matter what the subject is or how graphic, because it’s an “adult song”?

Me and DP were debating this earlier. Am I unreasonable for suggesting censorship just because I wouldn’t want to stand and sing about my pussy squirting on your face and dripping? Or are we essentially saying that pornographic lyrics are normal and just the same as any other song that references sex in any way with absolutely no red line?

I don’t think it’s misogyny either because it’s not the reference to enjoying sex that I find objectionable. If a bloke was singing about cumming on a woman’s face to give her a milk moustache, I’d find that a bit too much too. Perhaps it’s the fact that the entire song is totally explicit, every line, rather than just the occasional reference slipped in that’s less noticeable.

These songs which are uber-explicit just feel a bit pathetic, as if someone is just trying to shock. It’s a try-hard. It makes me eye-roll rather than shocks. There’s not even any real meaning or message most of the time either. You can describe sex. Well done you. Slow clap.

I think it’s a bad song but not coz it’s rude. Badly written and it’s cringy. WAP was way better and this is trying to be WAP and failing

Natsku · 28/01/2025 07:15

Just looked it up. Bloody hell, it's a bit much, isn't it?!
Just hoping it doesn't become popular enough to be on the radio in Finland because they don't do radio edits here so it'll be played in all it's explicit glory.

Gettingbysomehow · 28/01/2025 07:07

Yuck just listened to it and wished I hadn't. Terrible lyrics, boring "tune". Trying to shock and just falling flat on his face.

greengreyblue · 27/01/2025 20:47

I don’t think it’s about enjoyment, it’s a brag about how wet her vagina is.

See that comes off as though you’re jealous that you can’t get a wet vagina. Isn’t the whole point of feminism that women in this case sexy red or whatever can commoditise her sexuality to gain income? Its different when page 3 existed…. Because somehow that was seen as okay? Underage girls blaring out their tits for husbands/ fathers/grandfathers of mumsnet users to perve over. Where was your drive to keep society clean and make your men better? Its a generic song, it won’t be the last. If you’re worried about your children, pull your finger out of your arse and parent and safeguard kids. You brought them into the world.

bpirockin · 28/01/2025 04:15

I hate that sort of stuff. I'm very open and not prudish at all, but I really don't like things like that shoved in your face at any given time, posters for some recent perfumes, with names I don't want to have to explain to or hear from children who really don't need to know words like that. It seems to me that it's attention-seeking by way of shock value, but it's vile and unnecessary. Time and place, for some perhaps, but it's a big fat NO from me.

I am a firm believer with age appropriate films and games depending on the child (internet use being mostly patrolled). I have relaxed that recently and reaping the rewards of watching the marvel timeline with them. Spotify, I did allow explicit usage because let's face it most 11 year olds have heard the odd f word!! This is off the scale sexualised! I will now have to work out how to hide this song. Bruno you've let me down massively.

heyhopotato · 28/01/2025 01:40

BatchCookBabe · 27/01/2025 21:12

@heyhopotato Eminem never released ANYTHING like this. Bruno's song is really vile and sexually graphic and demeaning to women.

I can think of plenty of Eminem songs that are that too.

RocketNan · 28/01/2025 01:17

What a load of weird shit. No thanks Bruno. I’ll stick to a mug of Ovaltine and scrolling Mumsnet.

Ooh hard agree about Taylor. Basically rotate evermore / folklore / lover / reputation / TPD and midnights. Lovely lyrics and songs for every mood and no grim talk or graphic demands for oral sex 🤮

I pretty much also listen to those albums plus 1989 on constant rotation too, our three-week old has also listened to pretty much nothing else than Taylor since she was in the womb and was born to the strains of Evermore so hoping she'll grow up a Swiftie! I think Taylor's the greatest lyricist in pop music history, a true poet. She does discuss adult relationships in her songs, which is absolutely fine for a thirty-five year-old woman to do, but she does it in a subtle and classy way, nothing graphic or distasteful. Even Guilty As Sin from TTPD, which may be her most overtly sexual song, is far from explicit.
