Has anyone heard this song
I heard it other other day and was so so shocked by the lyrics I nearly had a heart attack 😂
Why do mainstream artists bring out utter filth like this. I really don’t like my kids (teenage) hearing this garbage….ive listened to some garbage in my time but it’s another level and is shocking to me coming from such a popular artist.
I know everyone will be like well they will hear it on YouTube/tiktok…..but I’d really like it not to be coming up on Spotify which they listen to alot 🫣

Ooofff that's rough as pigs shite.

Choccyscofffy · 27/01/2025 17:05

I’m at work so too scared to Google.

But it sounds like it’s a change from women being used as dolls?

Clit isn’t a rude word 🤣

Edited

No but it’s not appropriate for a pop song is it?

Crunchymum · 27/01/2025 17:01

My concern is that Bruno Mars' target audience isn't women!!!

Which isn't relevant to the point
And if it let's young men know they can and should go down on their partner too...

Well bonus

greengreyblue · 27/01/2025 17:04

Wtf !!!! That is abhorrent. I googled the lyrics cos I don’t want him getting any streaming revenue for that shit. I thought his ‘heat between your thighs’ lyric was a bit dodgy but this is unbelievable . Felt the same about WAP a few years back. Surely it’s not getting played?

LookItsMeAgain · 27/01/2025 17:01

Or they just couldn't find it so it was left there by accident 😉

🤣

The man editing the lyrics didn't know what it is.

Women have historically been told they cannot and should not enjoy sex...

My concern is that Bruno Mars' target audience isn't women!!!

There is a 'clean' edit of it on Spotify. Interestingly the word Clit is left in..

Simonjt · 27/01/2025 17:00

I heard it this morning and it took me a little while to notice the lyrics. Could be worse, could be Dixon Dallas ‘good lookin’ which starts as though its going to be a sweet nice song.

Particularly disgusting that Sexxy Red imagines she is empowering women with this horseshit.

It’s a terrible song in terms of lyrical content, but being happy to enthusiastically and unashamedly demand oral sex is something a lot of women would in fact benefit from…

If I were to suddenly start putting titties on my Husbands forehead and chin and screaming for him to “Slob on my cl*t” and “suck on my toes”, whilst commenting on his “milk mustache”, he’d possibly divorce me because he’d assume I was having a mental breakdown 😂

Considering none of the pearl clutchers in the first few pages would ever go see him live.. you darlings just stick to mannilow. I like the video more than the song.

Ok Bonnie Blue, darling 😘

Women already know that they can enthusiastically and unashamedly request sexual things.

This has nothing at all to do with empowerment.

Women have historically been told they cannot and should not enjoy sex...

Nowt wrong with a bit of Mannilow.

gotmyknickersinatwist · 27/01/2025 16:56

It's a tale as old as time. Squeaky clean good boy image, appeals to young fans, tries to shake off that image by being edgy and shocking.
I just looked up the lyrics. What a bag of shite. Not edgy or subversive at all, just base and boke-inducing. 'Pop go the....'? Wtf?
I never got his popularity, he just sounded like he was impersonating MJ at a school talent show.

InWithThePlums · 27/01/2025 16:56

I’m well intrigued 👀

Agreed it's not exactly... well written but a woman owning her own sexual pleasure is a good thing

BarbadosItsCloserThanYouThink · 27/01/2025 16:54

Wow just googled, it’s just grim

I was shocked by a Sabrina Carpenter song recently. Her fans are mostly young teens. Why does everything have to be so pornbrained these days?

Yes all I know of her is her music is used on Insta accounts I watch with DCs. Mostly Japanese cake decorating accounts! And have been left shocked by the f-bombs when we're just trying to see someone ice a bloody Pokémon cookie. It's just so unnecessary!

I'm not sure that this song is going to achieve that. But, if indeed it does, does it not also tell the other 50% of the population that their woman is a prude if she doesn't want to loudly demand oral sex in a vulgar and crass way? With this song, if you get one shift in thought, you are surely going to get more of the other!

FallOfTheHouseOfUtterlyButterly · 27/01/2025 16:51

Crunchymum · 27/01/2025 16:35

Slightly off topic but I managed to find the name of the song (and then the lyrics) in about 5 seconds, using Google!

Edited

It led me to a different song at first.

But if someone is going to post about a song, it's good grace to actually TELL us what song it is

Applesonthelawn · 27/01/2025 16:51

Jeez, so unnecessary.

Gettingbysomehow · 27/01/2025 16:50

Now we will all have to listen to it.
