Has anyone seen the video footage that totally proves Blake Lively was lying about her accusations of Justin Baldoni. Total Amber Heard vibes from this and it's scary to think how many cases that can't be proved have destroyed men's lives.

Scary to think how many cases that cant be proved have destroyed men's lives?

The irony of this comment!

Are you familiar with rape stats and the overwhelming majority of rapists who get away with it?

CookieCrumbles23 · 24/01/2025 00:39

I find Blake Lively very complicated. On one hand, she is the woman who praised someone who ‘allegedly’ abused his adoptive daughter, and went on to marry his other adoptive daughter. If you’ve ever watched Dylan’s interviews, it would be hard to respect this man or publicly praise him after hearing this poor woman’s sickening experiences as a child. BL really ought to reflect on this considering the position she now finds herself in now.

On the other hand, although I dislike her immensely and I’m unsure if her other claims are true, she does appear uncomfortable in the video. I think it’s quite obvious. Unlike her, I can’t witness another woman’s discomfort and act oblivious.

For all the man haters that seem to have flocked to this post please watch Meghan Kelly sum the whole thing up here to Ben Shapiro and then please just go away!

This is not the mic drop you think it is, the guy representing Justin Baldoni is also the lawyer that negotiated a huge settlement for Megyn Kelly when she left NBC and she has him on retainer. She also tends to side with men in these matters, seems to be her brand. She is literally just parroting whatever the Bryan Freedman / JB claims are.

The judge found that 12 of the 14 alleged incidents of abuse were proven to a civil standard. Many of the evidence used in this trial was omitted in the US trial, due to depps very savvy legal team. Depp fans post trial clubbed together to purchase the omitted evidence in hope they could further add to their amber heard hate pile on, but were very quick to pretend what they discovered never existed.

This was a case brought by Depp against the press, it had nothing to do with the truthfulness of what AH said. Although she gave evidence, the fact that the judge found in favour of the press isn't the vindication of AH you believe it is. She wasn't on trial, she had no obligation to prove what she said was true because she was only a witness. When she was expected to prove her version of events in court in the USA, she couldn't, in fact when JD was allowed to provide evidence of her lies it was obvious to anyone who wasn't biased she was lying. He wasn't allowed to present his evidence against AH at the UK trial because AH wasn't the defendant. I don't particularly like either of them but facts are facts.

You can purchase evidence that a judge has declared should be omitted for privacy reasons?

LadyTottingham · 23/01/2025 23:58

The US trial was heavily weighted in AH favour, it was hers to lose.
I don't know anyone in an abusive/violent relationship who would go out and buy a large dagger/knife, have it engraved and gift wrapped and present it to their abuser for their birthday! Just one of the many things that didn't add up. They were a toxic couple and should never have got together.

Anyway, back to BL/JB and I'm seeing photos of the New York film premiere and JB and his family had to go and sit in the basement (so he says) for an hour as BL said she and the cast didn't want to be seen with him and if he tried to join them they would boycott - that sounds absurd.! Who tells the director, at the premiere of his own film, that he and his family and friends need to sit it out in the basement for an hour (especially given JB was ponying up 50% of the tab for the evening!). Remind me whose film it is? I'm intrigued now to hear BL version of events, but certainly sounds like there are boundary/control issues with both of them.

The Betty Blooms pop up / it ends with us inspired cocktails she posted and promoted, her hair care line that launched 3 days before the premiere, Gordon Reynolds in the end credits. Interesting how even when directly asked about the theme of the film (DV) she doesn't evade or change the subject but gives shitty answers.

@Mollysay in her court case she explains (with evidence) that the date of her hair care launch was set before she even signed up to the film.

JB’s PR team created this tone deaf narrative about BL, and specifically used her hair promo and the florals as examples. JB had instructed the entire cast to focus on florals and positive messages.

Anything you think about her and know about her is based on what you’ve seen and read online, which is all subject to manipulation. In this case, the manipulation has been proven.

Not true. UK judge decided that what was written about JD was not liable, it was reasonable for the press to believe what JDs wife said, not that what she said was the truth. The Law is very complex and people really should pay attention to the nuances.

I wouldn't underestimate the US court system. And her multiple lies were all open for the public to see. A disgusting human being. And Depp is an old stoner so I'm not a fan of his but he wasn't manipulative as she was.

Depp is an old stoner and an abuser

Sis he didn’t promote her haircare line during the film she launched it just before?

What shitty answers did she give regarding domestic violence?

JandamiHash · 23/01/2025 21:27

Well it’s spelled in court documents so it would be odd if you didn’t believe it.

Never saw her promote a hair care line in interviews, when did this happen?

I would believe this if it weren't for the fact she was shilling her hair care line and her husbands alcohol brand during the promo. This is usually frowned upon in film promo, are you saying they told her to do this also?

Reality is she can be insufferable and still have experienced sexual harassment, she still doesn't deserve it no matter how problematic she is (thought she's awful since she made jokes about her co-star in GG having been born in prison which is spiteful and nothing has ever seemed to contradict this rep). That said, this is messy AF and who knows what went on.

Do not get the hate this women seems to attract from people at all.

A very real problem, wah🤣bit extreme, I'm on the fence, it'll all come out anyway

I see her trying very hard to steer him away from kissing her - which is what she said she did.

I see her using appeasing actions and language to keep things 'light', like so many women do with males when they are trying to protect themselves - which is what she said she did.

Well done for buying the bs though and also being horrible about Amber Heard at the same time. Bravo.

Exactly what I saw too. She is trying to act the part but clearly can’t stand the guy and is trying to avoid him kissing her. There’s no direction for any of what he’s trying to do, only that they’re supposed to be ‘falling in love’ during the dance. He’s being a gropey letch.

I am just saying - Blake Lively’s bad press was shoved in all our faces all the time everywhere. Brad Pitt’s really wasn’t. It never came up on my social media feeds, where as BL was flooded on mine. Makes me believe her claim of a smear campaign against her.

Has he even done many interviews in the past decade or two? Serious question, i don't remember seeing any for a long long time. It's also only possible to dig out awful interviews if someone has given them, a lot was driven by it trended on tik tok- something that wasn't about when Brad was actually relevant. She still comes across awful in those clips, plenty more out there too.

Amber and johnny were a pair of crack heads that we've all walked past doing our best not to stare, or had living around us making life hell, unfortunately they are rich and famous so aired their dirty linen in public.
That clip shows that BL had a point. Scarlett Johansson does the same when asked about clothes etc, she'll happily answer when the interviews with the male actors ask the same questions.

Nutriiiit · 23/01/2025 20:27

AccidentallyWesAnderson · 23/01/2025 20:19

I thought it was investigated and the FBI found no wrong doing hence why no charges were brought? Anyway.

I also think it’s more than a few ‘awkward interviews’ that the backlash of BL is happening. I haven’t read either lawsuit thought so I’ll wait until it’s all out in court.

I’m uncomfortable though with immediately defending BL due to her being a woman, and I say that as having a job where I see awful males daily, more so than women, and recognise that as a sex class, males are absolute cunts (NAMALT, women do it too blah blah).

I think they both agreed the FBI documents would remain sealed (after a quick google just now!). But the fact remains that (allegedly) none of his children want to be associated with him and have dropped his last name. I think that’s pretty telling.

Anyway I’m not trying to do a Brad Pitt witch hunt!

Only that he assaulted his (ex) wife on a plane, hit his son for trying to intervene (all this is fact, btw, FBI investigated) and yet his reputation is intact. Blake Lively gave a couple of awkward interviews and the internet hates her. Calls her a “mean girl”, doesn’t believe her when she says she was treated badly by a male costar.

My point is - they’re both celebrities. One is still working and absolutely fine. The other is not. One is a man. The other is not.

The man (Brad Pitt) has a great PR team in this case as well!

Ah yes two incomparable situations, point proven.

Brad Pitt simply isn't that relevant anymore, he might not receive a tonne of hate online but similarly there doesn't seem to be people riding for him either. Sure he's working on stuff at the moment, I'm sure Blake will continue to once this passes which it will (unless its proven if it gets to court shes a liar). All celebrities have PR teams, some good and some not so good, her and RR no doubt pay someone a lot to try and keep their golden couple status (probably lots of overtime at the moment).

Paul Bethany.

One message, sent in 2013, made lewd reference to Heard’s “beaver”, and discussed her murder by “burning” or “drowning”.
“I’m not sure we should burn Amber,” wrote Bettany. “She is delightful company and pleasing on the eye. We could of course do the English course of action and perform a drowning test. Thoughts? You have a swimming pool.”
Depp replied: “Let’s drown her before we burn her!!! I will fuck her burnt corpse afterwards to make sure she’s dead.”
To which Bettany apparently wrote back: “My thoughts entirely. Let’s be certain before we pronounce her a witch.”

MrsTerryPratchett · 23/01/2025 20:15

Hands up to being a man hater. I hate male violence and harassment that the entertainment industry is lousy with. It would be lovely to go out in the world safe from male violence and harassment. Now, in my 50s I'm almost free of it. So it's only happened once in this week (running as a woman is very presumptuous), rather than multiple times a week in my teens.

Good men are wonderful. I'm married to one, my dad is one, friends are several. I would trust them with my life, more importantly I would trust them to look after 14yo DD.

But men as a class, given power and influence over women? Yuk.

hat did Paul bettany do?

Neither did I until recently! It’s mad, right? Great PR. If someone came on the Relationships board here and described him, we’d all be shocked at how awful. Yet he’s getting Chanel campaigns, doing Oscar worthy films (well, I don’t know what films he’s doing lately tbh). There’s a good article on Slate called something like “Brad Pitt keeps showing us who he is. Why don’t we believe him?” Or similar.

I actually have no idea what Paul Bettany did, but I’m off to google…

I really recommend listening to "Who Trolled Amber Heard".

It's highly selective and has a huge agenda.

I really recommend listening to the recordings of Amber abusing JD here:
