Has anyone seen the video footage that totally proves Blake Lively was lying about her accusations of Justin Baldoni. Total Amber Heard vibes from this and it's scary to think how many cases that can't be proved have destroyed men's lives.

Can’t stand the woman or Ryan Reynolds, they’re so up themselves and fake.

What’s that got to do with whether or not she was the victim of sexual harassment at work?

Are you on the wrong thread?

SL2924 · 22/01/2025 21:54

Proves nothing. She’s not perfect but I can’t imagine she would be progressing with this if it wasn’t true. Women never come out of these things well. He sounds like a sleaze.

Are you from his PR firm OP.? Would not surprise me.

Yes I thought the OP might be Melissa. Just another clever trolling strategy. Give it up Mei,sa. Time to stop now.

laurwalsh · 22/01/2025 21:51

I watched the full clip and what really comes across is how unbelievably unprofessional Blake Lively is. Why is she constantly talking and giving him, the Director, directions? And then there’s the fact she completely twisted a small compliment between colleagues into a gross seedy moment to accuse him of sexual harassment. I’m so glad JB is fighting back. I hope he doesn’t settle. She and Ryan tried to destroy his career and they would’ve gotten away with it had it not been for Justin keeping receipts.

I've never understood how she can be blamed for the tone deaf marketing of the movie - there would have been a marketing strategy which would have included her wearing florals and encouraging groups of women to go together.

Reddog1 · 22/01/2025 21:46

I don’t like her but I do believe her 🤷‍♀️

ThatMerryReader · 22/01/2025 21:45

I have not watched the content.

Yes exactly. Focusing on one video, rather than the many accusations including walking in on her breastfeeding, walking in on her whilst she was getting dressed, talking about sexual acts and their previous pornography addiction in front of her even after she said don’t. It isn’t a case of different interpretations of what happened whilst the camera rolled. The legal complaint by Blake Lively describes a hostile work environment due to many incidents.

Newmumburnout · 22/01/2025 21:44

Totally off topic but with your remark to "amber herd " vibes. I listening to a podcast called who trolled amber herd and it opened my eyes

If you actually think that video proves she's lying you are a very real problem.
Do not get the hate this women seems to attract from people at all.

She gets a lot of hate because some people haven't forgiven her for what she did on social media about Princess Catherine while she battled cancer. Or how she promoted a film about domestic violence like it was a Rom-com, while using the film as an aid to flog her booze and hair range. This was all before the "smear campaign", no one can blame these instances on JB.

MoneySpell · 22/01/2025 21:41

I saw it earlier today and didn't understand why it was news as it doesn't dispute anything she said! As others have asked, what do you think it proves?

If you're worried about women ruining men's lives, wait 'til you hear what men do to women!

Mumlaplomb · 22/01/2025 21:40

I dont think it proves she is lying at all. It shows him as “making it up as he goes along” if anything, which lends itself to her claims he would kiss her and ask for sex scenes beyond what was in the script. I think he was out of his depth and chancing his arm with her and it back fired so he started a smear campaign.

FaithFables · 22/01/2025 21:39

It doesn't disprove anything. As for Amber Heard, c'mon everyone knows both her and Johnny Depp were abusing each other!

spoonfulofsugar1 · 22/01/2025 21:39

I don't like her, i get mean girl vibes. That comment about the bump to the interviewer was so bitchy.
But that video doesn't prove anything. And frankly that Justin guy seems like a sleazy creep.
But who knows. Both have got expensive PRs working away spinning their narratives.

yummyscummymummy01 · 22/01/2025 21:38

ColinOfficeTrolley · 22/01/2025 21:36

I see her trying very hard to steer him away from kissing her - which is what she said she did.

I see her using appeasing actions and language to keep things 'light', like so many women do with males when they are trying to protect themselves - which is what she said she did.

Well done for buying the bs though and also being horrible about Amber Heard at the same time. Bravo.

XWKD · 22/01/2025 21:35

I think she's nasty. That doesn't mean she deserves to be sexually harassed, or that she's lying.

StrawberryWater · 22/01/2025 21:34

This is yet another creepy man child who was told "no" and doesn't like it. He's throwing his money at a PR firm because he knows in the court of public opinion it's often the woman who is vilified, not the man (look at Amber Heard and JD).

FoxtonFoxton · 22/01/2025 21:32

I reality, he's probably a sleaze and she's probably a dickhead. I'd imagine both sides have truths to them, as well as lies. I don't think the video proves much either way.

FieldInWhichFucksAreGrownIsBarren · 22/01/2025 21:30

Babybaby2025 · 22/01/2025 21:29

You mean the video of them dancing, and staring lovingly into each others eyes, and giggling while the cameras are rolling and they yell cut at the end?

It's called acting.

TikehauLilly · 22/01/2025 21:28

@Butchyrestingface I wasn't commenting on the texts - I don't know enough (or care to). it was about this one scene and my interpretation

I think you could say anyone is sleazy looking if they fit your definition of sleazy. I don't think the character he played does much to deter from that view or the cringe scene we are all now talking about!

💯 agree with you about BL acting!

Tonkerbea · 22/01/2025 21:27

The footage is ambiguous imo. She does look subtly uncomfortable at the end, but I agree with pp, it looks less 'sleazy lech', more rubbish communication and needing the intimacy coordinator present. She has the right not to be made to feel uncomfortable at work, as every person does.

I don't think she's been caught in a lie, she's interpreted the situation in one way, and I think in his head his comments and actions are aligned with an actor/ director getting on with a job.

There's so much mutual destruction of reputations, no one will 'win', even if it is seen through to the bitter end in court.

Ohlawdnotagain · 22/01/2025 21:27

I've watched the clip, courtesy of the Daily Mail (yes and what!)

I haven't followed the story much but watching the clip, it was all a bit cringe. BL looked like she was uncomfortable and seemed to be reasoning with him to steer away from a full on snog. There is also an imbalance of power as he is the lead role and director. He was calling the shots and she looked uncomfortable. Who knows anyway.
