Bit of a boring one I guess. I'm gonna get the snacks in for me and dd as the coverage starts at 3.30/4pm (UK obs)

I love to watch stuff like this, makes me feel connected to the world 😅🙈

Plus I wanna see if anyone slips up and let's their face show their real thoughts

Plus I'll be making comparisons between barron and Gary barlow's giant son

I genuinely don't think we will ever see Biden in public again. We certainly won't be seeing him on the traditionally cushy (and highly lucrative) lecture tours and after after dinner speech circuit patronised by ex presidents. His dementia is too advanced.

I suspect this is why those closest to him were prepared to sacrifice him on the Altar of their Greed. Another four years in the White House would have kept the big bucks rolling him.

Biden isn't going to be able to earn a single penny now.

Here’s hoping that Trump and Musk take out Starmer like a loose tooth.

Starmer is in trouble if Trump and Musk turns on him.

Musk has already expressed his opinion on Starmer.

The things that will make Britain great again involve investing in public services and not funnelling money into personal pockets through scams, so you want the opposite of Trump.

If someone like the union leader, bob something, wanted to head up a centre left campaign of 'make Britain great again' with strong references to Tony Blair economic policy, ie sure start, I think he could do it and be PM.

Starmer is our in 4 years time, he could be the hope for the left

I turned it on in time to hear Trump's speech. I turned it off after he boasted that Americans had split the atom and won two World Wars. And those morons believed every word.

@heyhopotato

That's not what I was saying.

We need a Trump figure here to get us back on track.

Someone who makes Britain great again.

What in your eyes would a "great " Britain look like?

MidnightBloom · 20/01/2025 18:45

Not a fan of socialists.

So you want to overturn the results of a democratic election because you don’t like the result? How very MAGAt of you.

Never happen here because being patriotic is frowned upon and very 'right wing'.

Exactly

Tariffs are paid by the consumer in the end - but people fall for this shit.

No, people buy American in the end. Don't need your shit.

It was elder abuse on a huge scale, from his family down.

I've said this for years, he was so clearly displaying cognitive decline and it was downright cruel to see him being wheeled out on the world stage when he was struggling so much. How often would he just wander off stage and have to be guided back?

EasternStandard · 20/01/2025 18:42

It was elder abuse on a huge scale, from his family down.

It really was. The media tried pretty hard to cover up his declining capacity too

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 20/01/2025 18:42

Agree that Biden is heading to a home, that man needs to rest

Something very captain tom about his whole situation

Melania has her head down - she's not even listening - and you can see the people stood behind him are baffled.

Not a fan of socialists.

There speaks a person who takes democracy utterly for granted.

Quite. I suspect that helicopter he just got on is dropping him off at a nursing home. Best place for him.

How's old Trump, 80 or something?

I just said to dh that we won't see Biden anytime soon. Jill will Whip him right into a care home.

MyNameIsX · 20/01/2025 18:35

What a refreshing change from Biden, when he used to freeze, or misname a person or country, or wander off stage etc.

Quite. I suspect that helicopter he just got on is dropping him off at a nursing home. Best place for him.

Los Angeles was mismanagement of the forestry, mismanagement of the fire service. Mismanagement of the dams and water systems.

Hurricanes as an American architect told me are down to planning regulations especially building social type housing.

Oh, ok, of course it is.

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 20/01/2025 18:38

Kinda prefer his rambling tbh, i don't care about Biden anymore

Im sorry but trump rambling silently in a split screen with Biden is hilarious

3floofs · 20/01/2025 18:38

It's very rude when people show up to see you to ramble incoherently.
