I find it astounding and more shocking that at this point in time after his last 4 year reign of terror and everything that's in the news and on social media that anyone can be shocked about Trump.

@timetodecide2345 Did you feel that you were living under a reign of terror during his first administration?

Have you just landed from Mars OP. What exactly have you seen that is so shocking.

And in any case what is so shocking about wanting to secure your country’s borders? 8 million illegal migrants have come into the US on Biden’s watch. That is more shocking than anything Trump says.

It’s not a novel idea. Your reaction is giving ‘faux rage’.

Before too long, there will be huge mass migration due to climate change, making many areas of the world uninhabitable. Trump is only interested in himself and in making money; literally nothing else. It's incredible that people are stupid enough to suck it up and wear the farcical MAGA hats.

LuckyPeonies · 20/01/2025 01:22

@dottiehens bad apples, liars, grifters, billionaires, religious zealots, criminals, and absolute corruption have just been installed in the White House. They will not fix anything, they just want the power to reshape the US for their own benefit.

Dabralor · 20/01/2025 00:00

What's he wanging on about today? Was it in sentences?

He's too important & mighty to bother with things like sentances!
He just fires out words and the audience has to do the work of finding the meaning.

The country depends on undocumented immigrants for labour. What will happen if they are all deported?

As Kelly Osbourne famously said “If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?”

Maybe his immigrant wife could do it, @Anniedash?

dottiehens · 20/01/2025 01:10

There are many ways to immigrate legally into the US. There are also programs for refugees and Asylum seekers. However, this is not about that. This is about the bad apples that Biden and Kamala invited and came in large numbers. Gangs like “Tren de Aragua” He was given a mandate due to the incompetence of Biden and Kamala and their insane progressive in asteroids agenda.

BettyBardMacDonald · 20/01/2025 00:21

Ignorant, bigoted, gullible, rudderless people, that is.

There are millions and millions of those type of people in every country, the US is no different to anywhere else.

Inflation.

I know nothing about politics, but his rhetoric was shocking. Those videos about illegal immigrants, the ludicrous claims he made… I’m in disbelief that this is happening.

I just don't get how he's President again.
Has he not been convicted of a crime?

I am shocked people still come here to moan about Trump. What a waste of time!

Fraaances · 20/01/2025 00:46

I genuinely think he’s been reading Hitler’s playbook:- find scapegoats, say stupid shit, talk of expanding the Vaterland. He’s utterly mad, and so are his people.

timetodecide2345 · 20/01/2025 00:46

@LuckyPeonies I'm glad they are horrified. I hope their terror consumes them!

LuckyPeonies · 20/01/2025 00:46

@devastatedagain i am not so sure about that. He is already making noises that, as he was ‘cheated out of the presidency in 2020’, he should have the right to run again. With a corrupt scotus in his pocket and his hand-picked loyalists in the justice system, we may never get rid of that awful crime family.

crumblingschools · 20/01/2025 00:42

If wages go up prices will go up

devastatedagain · 20/01/2025 00:41

It's only for 4 years and then he'll be gone forever. It'll be fine.

LuckyPeonies · 20/01/2025 00:40

Anniedash · 20/01/2025 00:21

Do you or game of phones live in the US? If not, how can you be so adamant that you are so right.

And even if you are right, which you’re not, it doesn’t matter. The public have voted. And they think you are wrong.

I do & you’re wrong. Out of 161 + million registered voters, 77 million voted for him, 75 million for Harris. So he had 1.5% more votes than Harris, all based on his campaign lies. Big whoop! 🙄 Also, living in a red state i can’t avoid mingling with trump voters and I can report quite a few are horrified by musk’s involvement (& trump’s admission he will not lower the price of groceries), and wish they had just stayed home instead of voting for trump.

TERFspice · 20/01/2025 00:39

And yours is giving misinformation. But yet, here we are. God Help Us All. And I’m agnostic.

OhioLois · 20/01/2025 00:35

I believe we've seen the last free and fair, properly democratic America presidential election for a long, long time. American exceptionalism will not protect it - or the constitution - from Trump.

No guard rails. Immunity from prosecution. ONLY enablers in positions of power. Control of both houses. No morals whatsoever. Doesn't give a shit about America or American people.

I'm avoiding the news cycle at the moment.

StrawberryWater · 20/01/2025 00:33

BettyBardMacDonald · 20/01/2025 00:28

Exactly. I can't wait to see that.

How many young entitled Americans are going to work in slaughterhouses or agricultural fields or cleaning hotel rooms?

Sitting here with popcorn waiting for the trump voting fools to receive what's coming for them.

They make up over 4% of the workforce. I'd like to see what happens when they're all removed. Those jobs won't be filled because some people will think they're too low paid and demeaning (which they often are).

People really need to move away from the gross idea that immigrants are lazy bums looking for benefits. Most want and do work.

And yet the last two Democratic presidents (Obama and Biden) have deported more people that Trump ever did in his 1st term when he was crowing about his wall.

Trump has been very poor on most things, especially immigration don't believe he's suddenly going to be some orange saviour.

So what? These people are taking absolutely nothing from average Americans.

Many prominent Republicans rely on "illegal labour" to keep their companies and local economies going.

I can't wait to see stupid Americans feeling the brunt of "Trump tariffs." Ignorant fools will be the ones paying for it.

Well I guess we will see who is right. As he isn’t very good at telling the truth I’m not sure Trump will be right

He just won his second election. And is about to be inaugurated tomorrow. I think the time for ‘we’ll see’ has sailed. ‘We’ need to get over it.
