Just scrolling through as I’m looking for a car to adopt and saw this cat on a small rescue site and I want to meet her with a view to adopt, I am going to enquire . Wondered what breed she looks like?

Looks like my brother's cat who is a random but we are sure he has some Norwegian forest cat!

Notateacheranymore · 17/01/2025 22:43

Domestic long hair

Simbaonedaythiswillallbeyours · 17/01/2025 22:11

Long haired domestic. I have littermates. The solid black is male (5kg) and the tux is female (4.2kg).

I hoover daily because of these two.

This is my gorgeous ball of fluff. All 7.5kg of him. Him and his bother were both from CPL. Everyone says, ooh has he got a bit of Maine Coon in him. We will never know.

Yeah, It looks just like my mates cat thats quarter Maine coon. Very beautiful he is too!

DareDevil223 · 17/01/2025 21:37

I lost my beloved tuxedo long haired boy last year and I still miss him every day. All these beautiful black and white floofs are making me tear up. Sad

BlushDiamond · 17/01/2025 21:37

She's beautiful, no matter what she family tree is rocking. It looks like she doesn't care too much for the person holding the camera. Better rescue her from having an unwelcome mobile shoved in her face before someone else snaffles her up.

Nearlyadoctor · 17/01/2025 21:36

Another similar one - my gorgeous boy 6.2kg domestic long hair

What a lovely cat. I always assumed mine was a moggie as he was semi feral from a farm. He was a big boy.

Long haired moggy.

Our old black and white boy (not very white) had ghost tabby markings. He was short haired and huge. 7.5kg! He wasn't so much fat as huge.

TroysMammy · 17/01/2025 21:30

A floofy moggie as opposed to a smooth moggie. A lovely looking cat but all that fur. I had a fluffy dwarf lop rabbit who lived indoors and there was fluff everywhere like tumbleweed making its way across the wooden floor.

FieldInWhichFucksAreGrownIsBarren · 17/01/2025 21:25

It's a floof, a beautiful floof. Also known as a domestic long hair.

Middlemarch123 · 17/01/2025 21:24

@RedLouise9 I’ll have her if you don’t want her! Get lots of treats, Dreamies is crack for cats, and a brush, because she’ll shed hair in the warmer months. And toys to play with. She might hide up for the first week or so, just leave her to settle.
I want another cat, I haven’t got one in that flavour. (Ignoring Persian shooting me daggers on the pillow next to me).
Enjoy!

Doingtheboxerbeat · 17/01/2025 21:22

It's a Sylvester.

FormerlyPathologicallyHappy · 17/01/2025 21:19

Long hair moggy like mine.

She’s a British longhair. She’s gorgeous. They are friendly and very sweet. How old is she?

The fosterer said she is extremely affectionate and very cuddly. she is 3

What I would call a fluffbomb. Of the upper crust variety. I love him!

ChilledProsecco · 17/01/2025 20:46

So many magnificent Floofsters on this thread!! X

Princesspollyyy · 17/01/2025 20:45

Just a standard long haired domestic cat. Not a breed such as a Maine coon.
