Fucking door knocking charity callers. Why is it allowed? It’s intrusive and I bloody hate it.

Pink deodorant - always cloying and horribly floral.

Having to refill rinse aid

I think the menopause is hitting hard today.

People who don't say thank you if you hold a door or step aside to let them by.

Raindropskeepfallinonmyhead · 10/01/2025 21:52

People who swim side by side and take up the whole lane so we all have to swim at their pace

My gallbladder.

Been a background nuisance for over 2 years, but since November has been giving me daily grief. Constant pain, unable to eat anything, can’t sleep. I’ve lost 3 stone which should be good news, but because it came off so fast, and I’m too ill to exercise, I just look old and saggy.

Getting the fucker taken out in 2 weeks. I should be pleased but 2 weeks more of this feels like a lifetime.

Edited

Doing the Moritz Gallbladder cleanses will be life-changing for you. Much better than going down the surgery route. Two years ago I was really struggling with my GB and thought my life was going to be miserable forever. I did my first cleanse and it was seriously life-changing. I did 8 in total, but most people get back to full-health after 6.

Fast weight loss does cause issues for the gallbladder, so doing a series of cleanses would put it right again. The consequences of GB removal put me off surgery so I was very relieved the cleanses worked. If you have any gallstones, they are actually formed in the liver and then move down into the GB, the cleanses also expel the stones, completely pain free.

Companies that you can sign up with online but make you jump through a million hoops to cancel a service

MrTiddlesTheCat · 10/01/2025 21:47

Angry cats should be banned. Mr Tiddles isn't an angry cat so the ban won't apply to him. Miss Tiddles is a bloody menace and should definitely be banned.

People who leave the After Eight envelopes in the box.

Aaaargh that just creates the illusion there's loads left.
While we're on the subject of after eight's haven't they become ridiculously tiny!

Buses pulling up at the bus stop outside my house at the exact moment I decide to go out in the car (the buses block the drive). Nine times out of ten times I go out this will happen. However if I went out and waited for a bus it would likely take twenty minutes!

Couriers who dump a parcel on my front step and run, with just a cursory touch of the doorbell, not waiting to check if anyone answers. I'm on a main road (with said bus stop outside) and they always leave the parcel in full view of passers by.

when it comes to voting people voting if they have not studied the policies of who they are voting for especially afterwards when then they then criticise how x govt is doing and then its like you voted for them,

Dogs. Or rather the entitled owners of some dogs.

People sitting in a quiet waiting room having a conversation on speaker phone or face time, holding the phone up to them. About nothing important.

Men walking Importantly Around. Refusing to deviate even a little because they're So Important and assume everyone will move out of their way.

Those clicky heeled shoes some men wear. And the dreadful relentless whistling. Sets my misophonia off like nothing else.

Young people who can't answer a question in a professional setting and think that saying ' I don't know, sorry' in a flat tone is a sufficient answer.

I've had a trying day. This felt good!

worse than the password is the text email to clarify who you are after putting in your password

or are you human quizzes

Over friendly shop assistants. Or rather companies instructing their staff to be this way

I just want to be left alone to try things myself

Best stay away from Northern Ireland on the 12th July, then!

Or they have an oompah loompah for a neighbour.

Work colleagues who won't use electronic calendars (which we all have).

Stop accosting me in the corridor/staff room/loo to insist we need to talk about X project and then not do anything about it. See when we're both free and organise a meeting.

I'm in a stand off with someone who 'urgently' wants my help with something since October but won't organise a time to talk about it. It only occurs to them when I'm eating my lunch in the staff room.

'My calendar is always up to date, feel free to book a time' on repeat for months.

And no I won't organise your meeting for you when you are already trying to ask me for a favour you lazy sod.

Ooh, that felt better.

CeliaCanth · 10/01/2025 21:28

Chatbots, especially when they can’t understand a basic question

Face and body unguents that come in excessively fancy packaging and cost eleventy million pounds. They can’t be THAT good, so stop trying to make me feel like an utter skinflint for not buying them

Describing, e.g., mashed potato as “plant based” with accompanying fanfares

Parking apps. Especially when they charge you a convenience fee for using your phone and your data to make a payment to them.

They need to be yeeted into the sun. There is a lovely country park where I live, and it is in a signal blackspot for my mum. She can never get the app to work. She ends up putting a note in her windscreen saying she tried.

and also the UN should enforce standardised bedding sizes globally and also duvets should have an arrow pointing to the top so you dont waste time putting the cover on sideways and having to redo it.

I got an emergency quilt from Asda, just as good as the M&S one which cost four times the price btw, and it says on the bottom which way round it goes.
