Fucking door knocking charity callers. Why is it allowed? It’s intrusive and I bloody hate it.

Pink deodorant - always cloying and horribly floral.

Having to refill rinse aid

I think the menopause is hitting hard today.

People who tell me things are "over there"

Oh this reminds me of taking driving directions :

MIL (non driver so I'll excuse her )
Me- "where are we going now" ?
MIL "It's where that car's going"
Me thinking : Which car ? There are dozens of them. "Which way ? Left/Right/Straight"? (I;m approaching a roundabout , don;t know the road and I really need to pick my lane now....)
MIL- "Oh just round here "

Aaaarghhh

My 'D'H eating a pack of peanuts and sounding like a small army on a gravel path <shoots look to right of room>

Right now, don't know whether to ban the nuts or the husband.

Mine does this too, he throws them into his mouth and I can hear them hit his teeth before he starts crunching them.Angry

Wearing Dryrobes as fashion wear..

but what constitute fashion wear?
They're brilliant when it rains, when it's cold, pretty much all year round.

Unless someone is bright red and sweating wearing one, I can't see when they should be "banned"

henlake7 · 11/01/2025 20:48

People dressing inappropriately for the weather.
Admittedly this is a 'me' thing but it's 1C today and Ive seen a lady in cycling shorts and a man wearing pool sliders with bare feet....I swear i get cold on their behalf!

Dog shit on the pavement, people who don't pick it up should have it posted through their letterbox.

CenotaphCorner · 11/01/2025 20:36

Politicians (and others) dolled up in full (clean) hi viz vests, hard hats, safety glasses and boots even if nowhere near anything remotely hazardous..

CenotaphCorner · 11/01/2025 20:31

TV presenters that even though they visit different places days apart during the course of any one programme or episode are always wearing the same clothes!

ExceededUsefulEconomicLife · 11/01/2025 20:23

Whotenanny · 11/01/2025 12:56

Just normal clothes. I never change my clothes until I'm about to get into bed.

The only exception is if it's rained and I'm wet. Then I'll put on other clothes.

I have nothing with a stretchy waistband!

Horses for courses. The second I step in my house I take my jeans off and put my elastic waistbands on. I can’t relax in anything else.

SabreIsMyFave · 11/01/2025 19:32

Anyone calling themselves an 'entrepreneur!' 🙄

Even worse, a woman with children calling themselves a 'mumpreneur.' 😖

Youngheartsalittletogetherness · 11/01/2025 19:27

Minute text on packaging that requires a magnifying glass to read .

tobee · 11/01/2025 19:25

Going on a picnic or similar and buying salsa or hummus or dips or whatever in a plastic tub that just has a film on top, so if you put the remains back in a bag it would all pour out.

They used to have a reusable lid. If manufacturers trying to use less plastic you need to work harder to come up with a better solution.

Street lamps that are bright to look at but cast absolutely no light on the pavement so you can't see where you're going, what's on the pavement and you feel vulnerable and not safe.

tobee · 11/01/2025 19:19

"Ridiculously tiny text and/or similarly coloured text and background. If you are a creative designer and you genuinely think that yellow on white or grey on black are a great idea, you should be forced to retrain and move to another profession."

Especially if it's got liquid in and you're trying to read instructions or the name - say a face toner or a perfume sample - and you've got the liquid sloshing about to add to the confusion.

totally agree with passwords, that must contain 7647 letters, numbers, special characters, accents, umlauts, wingdings, etc, then it has the nerve to tell you it’s not secure enough and try harder. I’m trying to order bedsheets, it’s not bloody Fort Knox!

I’m adding blister packs tablets come in. This fresh new hell of the blister packs that has the tablets encased with some sort of foil/plastic combo, so that when you eventually manage to get the foil off there’s a thin layer of plastic still to fight your way through. Gives me the rage every time, since I can’t get a thumbnail to pierce it, so once I’ve used my teeth/ scissors/butcher knife I’ve either pulverised the bloody tablet or launched it across the bathroom never to be seen again. Ironically, it’s my arthritis meds that now come in this so it’s like I’m being punished for having crap joints and must pay by either having to lick grim tasting tablet dust, or scrabble about on hands and knees searching for the launched tablet. Then because of the crap joints I can’t get up again 🙄

Could you open it into a bowl so if it does fly out it stays contained?

hideawayforever · 11/01/2025 12:57

people who don't say thankyou when you hold the door for them

What do you wear when relaxing? Particularly at home.

Just normal clothes. I never change my clothes until I'm about to get into bed.

hideawayforever · 11/01/2025 12:41

Women wearing too much perfume, that it chokes you as you pass them and makes you feel sick.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 11/01/2025 12:14

I feel a harsh penalty (of my choice depending on my mood) is appropriate for the designers of sites where the lettering is grey

I am ancient . I cannot read grey text . Black text only .
What is so hard about this ? Sure;y when you choose your font setting the colour 'Black' would be the default ?

zingally · 11/01/2025 12:01

Lorries overtaking each other. Stay in the slow lane you massive clumpy fucks.

Merryoldgoat · 11/01/2025 11:19

JMSA · 11/01/2025 10:41

Irregular Choice shoes. I can't believe fully functioning women wear these monstrosities. They belong in a child's dressing-up box.

Anyone who has posted on-line about the LA fires to say "well, it's all rich people/celebrities so it doesn't matter". Shockingly ignorant. Instant ban.

Anyone on The Traitors who thinks that people are in a click or says "I voted for yourself, sorry".
