Where does all the stuff go??

Left in the door would have been my guess, but presumably someone has left the house since the weekend and would've noticed if still there. And if someone had pinched them they would probably have at least taken the car at the same time!
Do you have young children? When mine were toddlers they liked to post stuff into anywhere they could.

I lost a pair of expensive earphones. Absolutely gutted as I used them every day. I always come in the house, remove earphones and put them in my bag, but they weren't there one day. Eventually I found them under the radiator cover in a room I wouldn't go into with them. I don't think I've ever taken them upstairs before because I don't use them ever in the house. They live in my bag and always have done. No idea how they ended up in the spare bedroom

Lost a ring - found it tucked under the carpet at the bottom of the stairs right where the hard flooring began. God knows how it got there.

I picked up my work ID pass and lanyard and put it round my neck. Then I walked into the living room and sat down in an armchair to finish my cup of tea. I stood up and walked a couple of steps across the room and something fell to my feet. I bent down to pick it up and realised it was my ID card. I went to put the ID card back in the plastic holder attached to the lanyard - IT WAS GONE! I just had the lanyard round my neck with the metal clip at the end. I searched the floor, under the chair, removed all the cushions, but I couldn't find the plastic holder, and never have.

I can't work it out. If the holder had fallen off before I picked up the lanyard in the kitchen, then how did the ID card end up falling to the floor in the living room. How could it have been transported there?

Had this happen so many times over the years , I put a friends Christmas present in a cupboard with other gifts , when I went to get it it was gone … apologised and told friend there was part of her gift missing .. went away for Christmas and when I came back they were in my bed ! Yes I was living alone at the time .

Where do they go? Is there a fourth sock dimension?

I use one of those net bags for socks now. Even then, the odd one goes astray.

I'm missing several things. Most irritating would be socks. A friend bought me a really nice pair of bamboo socks. I wore them and washed them. There was only one in the machine when the washing had finished. The machine has been checked over and the filter emptied and its not there.
Nor is the other sock I lost. Treated myself to a pair of silly print socks. Same thing- wore them, washed them and one vanished.

I always find things in shoes.

On the coffee table - which was under another coffee table.. you know the stacking tables.

Lost our keys the other day… car and house keys in a bunch. Found them eventually on the back seat of the car?! Must have used husband keys to get in the house!!

Not the same , however Ive had loads of things go missing only to turn up days/weeks later in a place where I had definitely searched . Has happened many times..

I would love to know.

I was moving my coffee machine from the cupboard to the worktop last week, knocked the water bit off & it fell on the floor. Haven't seen the lid for the water container since 🤷🏻‍♀️
