All these stories remind me of the time in my 20s when I forgot knickers after a pool swim. I told myself ‘no excuses don’t be lazy’ and put tights on with no knickers before going into the gym. As I was doing sit ups a on floor, a man in his 20’s also lying on floor stretching was face level staring at my crotch. I realised at that point my tights had a huge hole down the seam and I was flashing my entire spread eagled vagina under Fluro lights.

Foul. I'll be honest I don't like it at all when people walk around starkers in changing rooms, let alone slathering themselves in lotion! It screams exhibitionist. Maybe that stems from a childhood memory of being confronted with a full frontal woman (bush and all) when I came into a swimming pool changing room.

It's possible to keep some modesty with a towel or use a cubicle.

I genuinely believe it's a fetish thing. I mean surely it makes more sense to get dressed before your make up to avoid getting stains on your neckline or collar?

It’s not an unusual place to be naked though, is it? I get that it might be a faux pas in the cold meats section of Sainsbury’s, but I can’t really see the objection in a changing room.

It wasn't a Puregym was it? There's a woman at my gym that used to do that, though I haven't seen here in a while. She's the only woman I've ever seen walk around totally naked and do the foot up on a bench this whilst drying and applying lotion!

Could we also mention that if the lycra is gone in your leggings meaning that they are pretty much transparent, it would be polite to wear something underneath if you are going to attend a spin class (and position yourself at the front).

Plus she could leave behind pubic hair too.

Yes, disgusting. One of the reasons I don't use a public gym anymore and got my own stuff for home instead. I just couldn't stand the foulness of the general public anymore. From nose/arse picking, bare feet on gym machines, filthy toilets, dirty plasters stuck to walls/floors -🤮.
