To think that Musk is now overstepping himself and the UK gvt should threaten action

Musk has just posted this on twitter (among other unhinged tweets). To me this reads as a thinly veiled threat to democratically elected UK MPs and actually the UK government should consider sanctions to the US if he continues this attack when he enters the White House?

This exactly.

I'm actually shocked that people are outraged about him to be honest.

They'd much rather the rape and torture of thousands of children was swept under the carpet so they can continue with their faux 'right-on' leftie clap-trap.

Please cite a post where anyone has said that.

You don't get to tell me what i can and cannot do.

Though that is the way of the rightwing, always has been, burning books, executing anyone capable of challenge, its what you do, just as right wing followers tend to be of a lower educational standard.

Have you short-circuited ConfusedConfused

Elon Musk has called Ed Davey (Lib Deb leader) a 'snivelling cretin' on X !

Who on earth would disagree with that?

I would.

Yes. Whom support her.

Okay, and?

wholettheturnipsburn · 07/01/2025 14:04

@XylophoneXylon Bit how is he "bringing awareness"

People who were interested were also aware

It's just like him posting that water is wet and being hailed as messiah for raising awareness

JHound · 07/01/2025 14:00

If Britain wants to moan about other countries not taking back their criminals they should lead by example.

As we don’t other countries are well within their rights to tell us to eff off.

JHound · 07/01/2025 14:00

madgesb · 07/01/2025 13:59

That's great but I'm saying the victims are the children that were abused.

Yes. Whom support her.

She's not the victim here.

The victims support her.

To be fair it's not his "fan girls and boys" starting multiple threads about him, its his haters providing them with a platform to defend him.

If it wasn't for MN I wouldn't have a clue what he was saying because I don't usually seek out the opinions of random billionaires.

I wouldn’t either. These daily threads and posts do his work for him. Getting attention

It's disappointing you can't understand that, fundamentally, the UK has NOTHING to do with Musk.

In the same way it has NOTHING to do with 'Dave from Kansas' who also spends all day bashing out hate posts on X.

He's utterly irrelevant. No one should be giving him any airtime whatsoever; yet here we are with simpletons fawning over the vile twat for no reason other than him being extremely wealthy.

Just think about what you're actually doing when you support this type of destructive interference, rather than complaining when others point out the blindingly obvious.

FOJN · 07/01/2025 13:53

wholettheturnipsburn · 07/01/2025 11:12

This is the answer.

He's like a petulant toddler. And all the new Mumsnet fanboys and girls will have to look elsewhere to peddle their filth

But to actively encourage them to renounce their Pakistani citizenship??

@BIossomtoes I read this in the link someone posted up thread. Metro?

It said that they had Pakistani citizenship which, on the advice of their legal team, they renounced and are now stateless. Since the Home Office has deported them, but they are now without citizenship in Pakistan, there is nowhere for them to go. These are men that didn't even serve half their sentences and have pleaded their right to stay in the UK to be fucking role models for their children.

That is truly vile, unscrupulous behavior. They should be treated like Shamima Begum tbh

Annabella92 · 07/01/2025 13:44

Yes, let's all go and watch the footage of her election speech. That's a very good idea.

It is if you haven’t seen it. You might discover the horrific bullying that female MPs are subjected to. And not just those from the party you dislike, Anna Soubrey was put through hell.

She did get backlash at the speech I remember it wasn’t good

Bringing awareness

Fair enough but alongside it, he is bringing hate and division, followed by the populists here, like Jenrick and Farage.

He wouldn't have courted such a response if he'd kept his comments to CSA and not personalised it...

Cornettoninja · 07/01/2025 13:45

XylophoneXylon · 07/01/2025 13:38

Bringing awareness

through his personal media platform that currently has no accountability.

I’ve no idea why this man is held in such high regard. $$$$ doesn’t equal IQ points. The man was born with a silver spoon and had the opportunity to buy his way into companies that were successful with no input from him. In another universe he’d be lucky to keep a normal salaried position given his personality.

CovenOfCheeses · 07/01/2025 13:44

wholettheturnipsburn · 07/01/2025 13:32

@XylophoneXylon I'm nonplussed by your posts

What "good" is musk doing exactly?

He is promoting himself and his agenda as an internet troll for lolz. He doesn’t care about the voices of the victims who support Jess Phillips and what she stands for or the head of the existing independent inquiry Alexis Jay
who stated we will have inquiry paralysis and waste time and it would be better to implement the recommendations of the existing enquiry. He does not speak for the victims who are broadly supportive of what the government is doing.

Musk and his friend Trump are both implicated in sexual abuse. He does not care for the little people, only to further his own aims which are little more than stirring the pot and allowing people to run around clearing up his mess.

Annabella92 · 07/01/2025 13:44

BIossomtoes · 07/01/2025 12:25

She might be if enough hate is stirred up against her. Remember Jo Cox and listen to Phillips’ election night speech.

Yes, let's all go and watch the footage of her election speech. That's a very good idea.

CagneyAndLazy · 07/01/2025 13:44

Annabella92 · 07/01/2025 07:07

Why does he need to leave the UK alone?

Maybe because it's got FUCK ALL to do with the racist, shit-stirring wanker?

🤔

madgesb · 07/01/2025 13:43

BIossomtoes · 07/01/2025 12:45

Did you seriously type that? Of all the disgusting things I’ve seen here that’s right up there. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Why, I'm not sure what you're disgusted at? It's a film.
