Would you send a naked photograph to your partner if he asked?
Just that really. I am not sure if this is the norm between couples. Mine has asked but I'm not sure if I should or not.

How do you feel?
Would you or have you?

He would never ask, gross

SpunkyKoala · 07/01/2025 20:45

Not a snowballs chance I hell would I be doing that

Interestingone · 07/01/2025 20:44

I don't want to be too graphic but he has told me that he wants a naked photo with my legs open, he wants everything in the photo and "of course my face."

I have no words! 😅

He is very persistent on this I must add.

He can piss right off with that. When they start harping on about it I cut them off, I just block and go, they don’t even deserve a reason if they think it’s cool to keep badgering me for nude pics or whatever it may be. ( but I’m quite cutthroat like that)

I would never send a nude pic of myself. At best I have done sexy underwear with face cropped out. I have come across way too many spiteful people in my travels of life to trust someone with this. If it was 1983 before the days of internet then maybe but nowadays, never.

I bet if you asked him for the same he’d say no, just like those dudes I come across that “love anal” but when I say to them let me wear a 10” Mandingo strap on and try Anal on him first then I will do it, you suddenly see how quick they drop that subject and lose interest in my ass!

I've (unfortunately) seen pictures of my Mum naked, because my Dad (exDad!) pressured her into doing pictures she wasn't comfortable with, and which he then used down the line as more fodder to bully her with. The fact that I saw them shows you what an arse he was with them, and the day we got hold of them and burnt them was liberating. Don't do it.

Hi all, thanks for all the responses. I've not had time to get through them all just yet.

To answer a few questions. Yes we have had sex and are not away from eachother for long periods. I would not say the relationship is as serious as I would like hence not being fully comfortable sending a naked photo.

I have also spoken to him about it as it has become a constant request of his that I send him one. He is insisting that I also put my face in the photo. As he wants "EVERYTHING" (his words).

ALARM BELLS - RED FLAGS 🚩🚩🚩

DO NOT DO THIS. DUMP HIM.

namechangetheworld · 07/01/2025 20:20

Christ no. I trust DH implicitly and still wouldn't.

There's a wealth of free porn already out there if he so desperately needs a wank.

Eww, no. Bin him.
He’s a wrong un. How fucking dare he insist.

Wonderi · 07/01/2025 20:17

If you are not comfortable doing it then do not do it.

If he keeps insisting then I’d tell him to do one.

Anyone who tries to push you into doing something that you’re not comfortable with, does not care about your feelings and doesn’t respect you.

Right, well any man INSISTING on my doing anything that I'm not sure about would get very short shrift from me. What gives him the right? Being horny?

But you’re a man.

And I can confidently say that no woman is going to be as offended as you clearly are by a different woman’s choice not to send nudes.

You can continue pretending to be a woman but you’re been clocked.

What specifically is it you think you've found on your gender hunt? Because I'm a woman on MN, like practically everyone else. I've probably been posting here longer than you have. I've heard this tired old nonsense before.

You don't know what every single woman is thinking any more than anyone else does. Women are not some homogeneous mass who all act and think the same way. That's actually the really offensive conclusion on this thread - that you think you are in any position to say what a woman should and shouldn't think. Regardless of how determined you are to misinterpret and insult me, I see right through this nonsense.

If you've got a point to make, make it. But please drop the bullshit.

Sillyname63 · 07/01/2025 19:35

Definitely don't do it, no one knows how long a relationship is going to last, imagine in 6 months time you ain't together anymore, you can't ask for that photo back, it is there forever. God knows what he will do with it. Even worse what someone else might do with.

nope. I’ve sent underwear selfies and maybe a pic of my boobs but cut my face out so nobody would know it’s me. I mean I trust him, but imagine he lost his phone 🤣🙈

Stuffisperplexing · 06/01/2025 20:29

Why is this better? Sure teach them to make good decisions but they'll inevitably sometimes make wrong calls. It's just prudery ruining young lives.

Nobody’s life is ruined by not being able to see somebody’s nudes.

JHound · 07/01/2025 19:27

SleeplessInWherever · 07/01/2025 19:07

Can’t speak for it usually being that way round, I’ve never been pressured into it. Though I can accept some have.

But there also are women who, without undue pressure, choose to take part in that sort of thing. It’s not always all about just doing as a man says.

Those women probably also aren’t assuming that all men share with others, spread it around online, etc etc. I personally don’t always assume the worst in people.

I don’t assume all men will share my nudes: whether online or just showing friends.

But I know some do. And given I know some do, if I never release my nudes I never ever have to worry about them ending up somewhere, or being shown to somebody I did not consent to.

JayJayj · 07/01/2025 19:26

It doesn’t matter what anyone else would do. What matters what you want. If you don’t feel comfortable doing it. Do not do it.

JHound · 07/01/2025 19:25

YoureAGoodManArthurMorgan · 07/01/2025 14:52

It's incredibly presumptuous that you think you have some prescient knowledge of how every single woman in the world would think. Not to mention that you're wrong because I am a woman, and you've clearly massively misinterpreted what I said in the first place.

I don't care who wants to send naked pictures to whom! But it's extremely unlikely you'll be marched out of your job or have a large billboard paid for outside your mum's house. The fact is that those pictures are unremarkable enough that no one would care enough to fire you. As mentioned above, there are women who post naked pictures of themselves on the internet on purpose. They still have jobs. It's a bare arse, not international trade secrets.

And as I'm now saying for the third time, it's not a good idea to send photos of yourself that you are embarrassed by, wobbly bottom or otherwise, to anyone. So no, I'm not encouraging anyone to send pictures they feel uncomfortable in. I take back what I said about your imagination. It's obviously quite vivid...

But you’re a man.

And I can confidently say that no woman is going to be as offended as you clearly are by a different woman’s choice not to send nudes.

You can continue pretending to be a woman but you’re been clocked.

I’m a woman and I’m inclined to agree. 🤷‍♀️

I'm a woman so I'm definitely going to have to disagree that I'm a man 🤣

I've never been pressured to send anything and anyone would get short shift from me for demanding me to.

Maybe it's because I'm good at photography and I've got an ok figure that I know how to get good angles or lighting to enhance, but I've definitely enjoyed the thrill of it in past LDRs. It can be fun, just be sensible. Same as with any activities between consenting adults.

Catcooper25uk · 07/01/2025 19:08

I've sent loads of naked/rude pictures to my partner I'm not really bothered if it gets out of the cloud I'm just not bothered about much nowadays since turning 40.

Lentilweaver · 07/01/2025 18:53

Any time a woman does not do what a man wants- because it's usually that way around- it's prudery.
No one should be shamed. But I have told DC not to do it and why.

ErinAoife · 07/01/2025 18:55

NO.

LalaPaloosa2024 · 07/01/2025 18:54

A school friend of mine did this for her partner. She found out a couple of years later that he kept photos of every girl he ever slept with. He had 1000s… ugliest man I ever saw too.
