Would be nice to know that I am not the only one feeling down and, frankly speaking just for me, utterly defeated.

No need to share why, but knowing I am not the only one would help.

I don't get the hype really. It is what you make it isn't it? I think a lot of people just set themselves up for disappointment. I'm sorry you are feeling defeated. Are you able to do anything about that?

Lots of my friends and I feel much like this - as though we're going through the motions because it's expected, but we've had a battering by life and are exhausted.

My motto is survival out of spite these days x
